The MV All Star Scuba Scene liveaboard Egypt is a 48.5-meter dive vessel offering Red Sea itineraries focused on both comfort and conservation. Spanning five decks, this contemporary yacht accommodates up to 28 guests and is led by a team committed to sustainability and marine protection. The operation promotes research through a dedicated citizen science program centered on shark conservation. Designed with divers in mind, the boat’s layout incorporates warm, neutral tones, light wood accents, and purpose-built dive amenities.

Boat Interior

The main level hosts the shaded dive deck along with eight air-conditioned staterooms. On the upper deck, guests find a swimming pool, sundeck, shaded bar area, and six additional cabins. There’s also a TV room for entertainment. One level higher, an air-conditioned salon offers panoramic views and a quiet space for relaxation. The top sun deck includes a Jacuzzi tub, bean bags, deckchairs, and a flybridge. Meals are served in the lower deck dining room, where freshly made dishes are prepared daily. The galley provides a rotating menu of Egyptian and international cuisine, with buffet-style breakfasts and lunches, and dinners that feature plated appetizers, mains, and desserts. Common ingredients include lamb, fish, legumes, rice, and a variety of seasoned vegetables. Special dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free can be accommodated with advance notice. Snacks and fresh fruit are available between meals.

Wi-Fi is offered at no extra fee while the yacht is in port.

Safety

The yacht promotes environmentally conscious liveaboard diving by reducing single-use plastics and adhering to regional sustainability guidelines. Two tenders provide access to dive sites, and a crew of 13–14 supports guests throughout the trip.

Diving

The dive platform is outfitted with open-air showers, two rinse tanks, and freshwater hoses. The dive deck offers ample gear storage, low-pressure air hoses, individual tank racks, and a large camera table for underwater photographers. A washer and two dryers are also available for guest use. Dive gear can be rented with prior arrangements. The dive team includes experienced professionals overseeing logistics and guest safety.

Itinerary Features

This All Star Scuba Scene Egypt liveaboard offers northern and southern itineraries. Northern routes include Ras Mohamed National Park, established in 1983, and the Straits of Tiran. Wreck diving features prominently, with access to the SS Thistlegorm and Abu Nuhas. Encounters with silky sharks, whale sharks, hammerheads, and thresher sharks are possible. Southern trips visit Brothers Islands and Daedalus Reef, with additional stops at Elphinstone Reef, a location known for sightings of oceanic whitetip sharks.

Boat Navigation & Safety

The MV Scuba Scene liveaboard Egypt operates under the supervision of experienced dive professionals committed to sustainable liveaboard diving. The vessel is managed by Ahmed Fadel, a tech instructor with nearly 25 years of diving experience, and Dr. Elke Bojanowski, a marine biologist overseeing the onboard citizen science program focused on shark research. The yacht is staffed by a professional team of 13 to 14 crew members, ensuring smooth logistics and attentive service throughout the cruise. To reach dive sites across the Red Sea, two tenders are available to transfer divers safely and efficiently. Environmental responsibility is central to operations; the yacht adheres to regional ecological guidelines and actively works to reduce single-use plastic. These measures support both the protection of marine ecosystems and the sustainability of diving in Egypt's iconic waters.

Food & Drinks

Dining aboard the All Star Scuba Scene liveaboard reflects a balance between familiar tastes and regional culinary traditions. Guests are served three meals per day, with breakfast and lunch offered buffet-style, while dinner includes plated appetizers, main courses, and desserts, accompanied by a salad buffet. Meals are freshly prepared by the onboard kitchen team using a variety of ingredients common in both Egyptian and international cuisines. Regular menu items include lamb, chicken, beef, fish, legumes, rice, lentils, vegetables, hummus, and an array of spices. Dishes such as garlic shrimp, seafood rice, chicken cordon bleu, creamed spinach, and lemon-dill sea bass reflect a mix of hearty comfort food and regional favorites. Desserts range from walnut brownies with strawberry ice cream to crème brûlée and apple pie à la mode. Fresh fruit and snacks are available between meals, and dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free can be accommodated with advance notice. Dining is structured to reflect local hospitality while supporting environmentally conscious practices, including reducing food waste. This culinary approach enhances the liveaboard diving holiday with a variety of flavorful and satisfying options each day.

Onboard Facilities

The lower deck houses the restaurant, where meals are served in a well-furnished, air-conditioned setting. On the main deck, eight seaview cabins are situated alongside the dive platform and gear area. The upper deck features a swimming pool surrounded by deckchairs and sunbeds, as well as a shaded poolside bar. Guests can unwind in the TV lounge, also located on this deck. One level above, a panoramic salon offers air-conditioned comfort for group gatherings and quiet relaxation with views over the Red Sea. The top sundeck is equipped with a Jacuzzi tub, additional seating, and a flybridge. Various areas throughout the yacht provide both sun and shade for resting between dives, and the overall layout supports ease of movement and onboard comfort during longer sailing stretches. This setup contributes to a balanced liveaboard trip with both diving and leisure time in mind.
