The southernmost of the four famous Straits of Tiran reefs can be easily recognized by the remains of the Loullia shipwreck protruding from the surface. There are several ways to dive Gordon reef. One is to explore the coral pinnacles on the shallow eastern side up to the scenic drop-off of about 30m, where there is an abundance of marine life and even sleeping reef sharks. Another option is to start from the north and drift along the wall, where the current can be strong at times.
