El Malahi is known for maze-like coral formations and winding reef passages, giving the dive a distinctive labyrinth style. It is a playful site where topography is as important as marine life.
What to see
Coral passages, hard corals, anthias, glassfish, lionfish, moray eels, blue-spotted rays, reef fish, and small crustaceans may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best in spring and autumn, with good sunlight enhancing the coral corridors. Water is generally 23–29°C.
