Boat Interior
The interior of Topaz centres around a spacious air-conditioned saloon, an indoor lounge, and a dining area offering comfortable seating, entertainment options, and space to unwind. Multiple open-air lounges, panoramic viewpoints, and sun-soaked relaxation zones allow guests to enjoy the Red Sea between activities. The jacuzzi on the Sun Deck adds a leisure element that suits long expedition days.
Dive Deck
Designed for efficient operation, the dive deck includes storage areas, compressors, DIN adaptors, tenders for site access, and organized space for gearing up. Free Nitrox is available for certified guests, and additional gear rental is offered for a surcharge. With the dedicated crew on board, divers may complete up to 3–4 dives per day depending on the schedule.
Safety
Topaz adheres to a full safety standard that includes life jackets, emergency rafts, fire-fighting systems, first-aid kits, and oxygen. Navigation and communication equipment include radar, VHF/DSC/SSB radio, GPS, a searchlight, and a satellite phone. A bilge pump alarm and smoke detectors add to onboard protection throughout the voyage.
Itinerary
The MV Topaz liveaboard Egypt operates an eight-day, seven-night schedule in the Red Sea, departing and returning to Hurghada or occasionally Port Ghalib. Routes such as Brother Islands – Daedalus – Elphinstone and Daedalus – Zabargad – St. John’s reflect the areas the Topaz covers, with dives around locations like Tiran and groups of wrecks in the northern Red Sea. The liveaboard schedule lists full itineraries including North Wrecks and Tiran, as well as a Mini Safari of six days and five nights. Each trip varies by departure port, but all follow the same structure of daily diving excursions across well-known reef and wreck systems, ensuring a consistent experience for divers at all levels.
Food & Drinks
Three daily meals are served buffet-style, paired with snacks throughout the day. The menu combines Western and local dishes, supported by a range of hot and cold soft drinks, including coffee, tea, juices, and sodas. Alcoholic beverages are included, and guests may bring one bottle of spirits. Meals are prepared by the onboard chef team, with attention to variety and comfort after long diving days.

Dive Facilities
The dive deck of the Topaz liveaboard in Egypt is equipped with compressors, DIN adaptors, rinse hoses, and tenders for diving. Certified divers have access to free Nitrox, and additional diving gear can be rented for a surcharge.
Boat Navigation & Safety
The yacht operates with full safety equipment, including radar, GPS and VHF/DSC radio, supported by life rafts, life jackets and fire-fighting systems. The vessel also carries emergency oxygen kits, first-aid kits, a bilge pump alarm, a searchlight, smoke detectors and an E.P.I.R.B. distress system.
Onboard Facilities
Facilities include an indoor air-conditioned saloon, open-air and indoor lounge areas, sun loungers on the sun deck, a jacuzzi, kayaks, audio-video entertainment and laundry service. The vessel accommodates both divers and non-divers, offering opportunities for land excursions and surfing.

Underwater photographers have access to a dedicated camera and photography station, a camera table, separate rinsing tanks for equipment and organised storage areas, along with multiple charging stations for batteries and accessories

Up to 3 dives per day to explore the northern Red Sea and Tiran.
Destination route points: Umm Gamar, SS Thistlegorm, Chrisoula K(Marcus), Shark & Yolanda Riff, RMS Carnatic, Jackson Reef, Giannis D, Dunraven, Tiran
Tiran Island and Ras Mohammed National Park are excellent dive sites for divers. The reefs at these depths are billions of years old. The rich underwater world of Ras Mo is among the top ten dive sites in the world. Butterfly fish, angelfish, Napoleon wrasse, seahorses, moray eels, barracudas... Can you imagine that? And that's what your typical day on board will be like!
Day 7:
Two dives in the morning, the last one ending around 11 a.m. Wash your gear and return to the harbor around 2-3 p.m. You can spend your last evening on the boat.
