Abu Nuhas is a large triangular-shaped reef. The average depth is 24m/79ft and water visibility is around 20-30m/65-100ft. The reef is located just a little bit north of Shadwan Island and the area is covered with shipwrecks. The wrecks are on the northern and rougher side of the reef with the main ones from west to east being the Giannis D, the Carnatic, the Chrisoula K, and the Kimon M. The currents can be quite strong
