Boat Interior
The vessel accommodates 28 guests in 14 air-conditioned cabins arranged across lower, main, and upper decks.
Two air-conditioned salons are located on the main and upper decks, each equipped with a TV/DVD area and sound system. A dining room is positioned on the lower deck.
Three bars are located on the main, upper, and sundeck levels. Media systems are available on the upper deck and sundeck. Wi-Fi is available free of charge when within range.
Dive Deck
Diving operations are supported by two zodiacs with ladders and 85 PS outboard engines.
The boat is equipped with two Bauer K15.1 compressors and a Nitrox membrane system (Mattai 15KW). Nitrox up to 32 percent is available free of charge for certified divers. Nitrox above 32 percent is subject to surcharge.
Aluminium tanks (12L) with DIN/INT fittings are standard. 15L tanks are available on request.
Safety and Navigation
Safety equipment onboard includes life rafts, life jackets, life rings, emergency oxygen, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits, along with a defibrillator. A fire fighting and alarm system is installed throughout the vessel, supported by smoke detectors and fire alarms. Emergency flares are also available, and ENOS is provided on request.
Safety briefings are conducted upon arrival to familiarise guests with the location and use of onboard emergency equipment. Oxygen tanks are available for diving-related emergencies.
The vessel is equipped with radar, sounder, GPS tracking, and radio VHF/DSC/SSB for navigation and communication. Additional systems include an EPIRB (emergency position indicating radio beacon), AIS, a bilge pump alarm, and a searchlight.
Itineraries
This liveaboard operates Red Sea itineraries with departures from Hurghada and Port Ghalib. Routes are determined by the schedule and include North, North Wrecks, Brother Islands, Daedalus, Elphinstone, Rocky Island, Zabargad, St. Johns, Fury Shoals, Strait of Tiran, Dahab, Safaga, and Abu Fendera. Selected 10-day and 2-week itineraries are also available.
Check-in takes place from 5:00 p.m., with the first night spent onboard in the harbour. Departure from the marina takes place the following day.
The itinerary includes five days at sea, with three to four dives per day depending on routing, weather conditions, and diver experience. On the final full day, a maximum of two dives is conducted before returning to the marina in the afternoon.
The last night is spent either onboard in the harbour or in a hotel, depending on the boat schedule.
When to Go
The boat operates in the Red Sea year-round, with departures from Hurghada and Port Ghalib. Routes include northern and southern itineraries, with destinations such as Brother Islands, Daedalus, Elphinstone, Rocky Island, Zabargad, and St. Johns.
Water temperatures range from approximately 24°C to 28°C between April and October, and from 19°C to 24°C between November and March. Daytime temperatures during summer months reach around 35°C or higher, while winter evenings are cooler.

All cabins on MY Golden Dolphin IV are air-conditioned and feature an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower. Towels and bathrobes are provided.

Diving can be done here throughout the year, but conditions and marine life do vary with the seasons. During the period between November and March, there is a general coolness of weather; fewer people result in crowds, and water temperature fluctuates between 22-24°C. April to June usually presents warmer waters, better manta ray, and whale shark encounters during plankton blooms. The summer months see active marine life, while September to early November brings warmer waters and good visibility for the variety of marine life
