Ras Burg is a drift dive site with average depth of around 30m/98ft and water visibility of 10-20m/32-65ft. The access to the dive site is by boat and diving here is available for divers of all experience levels. Dive starts at a fossilized coral pinnacle that towers over the water and which gives the site its name (Ras Burg is Arabic for “Tower Cape”). The highlight of this site is a chimney with a vast number of gorgonians, sponges and soft corals.
When To Go Diving
All year long. Annual water temperature ranges from 22 to 28C/72 to 82F.
