Shilineat is best treated as a southern Red Sea reef with coral blocks and clear-water slopes. It suits relaxed diving, especially for those who enjoy healthy coral and fewer boats.
What to see
Expect coral gardens, anthias, butterflyfish, parrotfish, blue-spotted rays, moray eels, lionfish, turtles, and small reef life.
When To Go Diving
March–May and September–November are usually best. Water is around 23–29°C, with visibility often 20–40 metres.
