Shag Rock is a northern Red Sea reef near the Straits of Gubal, known for reef scenery and wreck remains in the wider area. It offers a mix of coral, current, and historical atmosphere.
What to see
Coral reef, reef fish, glassfish, jacks, barracuda, soft corals, moray eels, blue-spotted rays, and wreck-related marine life may be seen.
When To Go Diving
March–May and September–November are usually best, while calm conditions matter because of the exposed position. Water is around 22–28°C in peak seasons.
