Sinaistar Liveaboard, Egypt

Sinaistar liveaboard is a 40-metre Red Sea dive boat operating in Egypt, combining a large purpose-built dive deck with comfortable air-conditioned interiors and generous outdoor spaces. Refitted in August 2026, the heavy-wood vessel accommodates up to 26 guests across 13 staterooms and cruises at 13 knots, with a maximum speed of 15 knots. Boat Interior

The separate air-conditioned dining room seats up to 28 guests at a single sitting. After a full day of diving, guests can move outdoors to the main sun deck, where shaded wrap-around seating, teak decking and an outdoor bar create a relaxed setting for watching the sunset. Dive Deck

Diving is central to the design of this Sinaistar liveaboard Egypt vessel. The 60 m² dive deck has individual gearing bays and tank racks, providing dedicated preparation space for up to 26 divers. Fresh warm-water showers and rinse tanks are positioned close to the gearing area, making the transition from the water back onto the dive boat straightforward.

Two Bauer K15 compressors with a combined output of 1,800 litres per minute support the diving operation, alongside a Bauer Nitrox membrane system. Nitrox or air in a 12-litre tank is complimentary, while 15-litre air and Nitrox tanks are available for an extra fee. Divers can also rent individual items or a complete set of diving gear, including a BCD, regulator, wetsuit, dive computer, fins, boots, mask and SMB.

Surface support is provided by tenders for drop-offs, reef pickups and diver recovery. The technical data lists a 6.5-metre speedboat with a Yamaha 70 HP engine together with a smaller support Zodiac.

Safety

Sinaistar carries navigation and communication equipment including GPS, radar, AIS depth scan, VHF and DSC radio. Safety equipment includes EPIRB, life rafts, life jackets, medical oxygen and an AED.

Every diver is required to carry a personal dive computer, DSMB or SMB, an audible safety whistle and a dive torch for night dives. Guests who do not have these items must rent or purchase them onboard before entering the water. Nitrox users must hold a valid Enriched Air/Nitrox certification and are responsible for checking their oxygen percentage and maximum operating depth before each dive.

Non-diving Activities

The outdoor decks make relaxation in between dives an important part of the onboard experience. Guests can settle into the shaded wrap-around lounge, spend time on the sun deck or head to the flybridge for open-air views across the Red Sea.

Beyond scuba diving, the vessel is equipped for snorkeling as well as kitesurfing, windsurfing and wing-foil safaris, giving active travellers and non-divers additional ways to spend time on the water.

Boat for Photographers

Underwater photographers have a dedicated 4 m² camera table for preparing equipment between dives. Cabin Types

All 13 cabins have individual air-conditioning and private en-suite bathrooms. Accommodation is divided between lower-deck twin staterooms and several upper-deck configurations, allowing guests to choose between twin, convertible twin/double and dedicated double-bed cabins.

Lower Deck Twin Cabins

Cabins 1–7 are located on the lower deck and have two single mattresses in a twin-bed configuration. Each cabin has porthole windows, a private en-suite bathroom, individual climate control, a wardrobe and under-bed storage.

Upper Deck Twin Cabins

Cabins 8 and 9 have twin beds and large seaview windows. Each includes a private bathroom, individual air-conditioning and wardrobe storage.

Upper Deck Convertible Twin/Double Cabins

Cabins 10 and 11 feature an adaptable twin or double bed setup. Large seaview windows bring more natural light into the accommodation, while each cabin also has an en-suite bathroom and independently controlled air-conditioning.

Upper Deck Double Cabins

Cabins 12 and 13 have a double bed and panoramic seaview windows. These upper-deck staterooms also include a private en-suite bathroom and individual climate control.
