Four twin-bed cabins are located on the main deck, near the dive platform and saloon. Each room features adjustable air conditioning and en-suite facilities.

Upper Deck Cabins

This deck includes one suite cabin, four single-bed cabins, and one bunk-bed cabin. The area also features a furnished bar and sun beds for relaxation.

Sun Deck Cabins

Two double-bed suites are located on the sun deck, close to the captain’s room. These uppermost cabins offer added seclusion and access to open-air lounging areas.

Boat Interior

The main salon and dining area are designed for comfort during downtime. Meals are served in a shared, air-conditioned space, while guests also have access to seating areas on the upper and sun decks. The bar on the upper deck and lounge seating provide spaces to unwind after diving or during surface intervals. The layout includes both shaded and sunny zones furnished with sunbeds.

Dive Deck

The dive platform is located on the main deck, with direct access from the saloon. It is very spacious and includes both a dedicated camera station and a power charging station for all guests. Twin Bauer K150 compressors (450 l/min each) and a Nitrox system (NRC 1000 l/min) support daily diving operations. The dive deck accommodates equipment preparation and rinsing between dives.

Safety

Safety systems on the Alsuraya liveaboard Egypt include two life rafts (each with a capacity of 25), fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and foam-based suppression systems in the kitchen and engine room. Emergency evacuation plans are posted on the dive deck, and emergency hatches are in place throughout the vessel. Marine safety tools include rescue boats, flares, signal devices, and rescue ropes. First aid kits and oxygen bottles are available onboard, and the captain and at least one crew member are MFA-certified and trained in emergency response.

Itinerary

The MV Alsuraya liveaboard Egypt offers a wide range of routes across the Red Sea, each highlighting a different aspect of this diverse marine environment.
The North itinerary combines shallow reefs and iconic wrecks, including sites rich in colourful corals and schooling fish.
Journeys to Rocky, Zabargad, and Saint John’s bring divers to remote southern reefs, steep walls, and vibrant hard and soft coral gardens.
Dedicated Saint John’s trips explore some of the most southern reefs of Egypt, where reef sharks and turtles are often sighted.
The Rocky, Zabargad, and Elphinstone option adds the dramatic walls of Elphinstone, known for strong currents and pelagic encounters.
Routes such as North and Brothers or Brothers, Daedalus, and Elphinstone showcase offshore pinnacles, vertical walls, and chances to see grey reef sharks and other pelagic life.
Finally, North and Dahab combine wreck diving with the unique coral structures and caverns for which Dahab is known.
