High-powered tenders for accessible dive site exploration
Open-air dining area featuring scenic Philippine views
Flexible cabin setups with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning

Traditional design meets modern comfort and functionality in this one-of-a-kind diving experience in the Philippines. This 40-meter dive yacht can welcome up to 16 guests across eight thoughtfully designed cabins. Boasting a mix of fixed double and twin beds, and two convertible cabins that can be either twin or double, the vessel meets varied needs. The cabins come with en-suite bathroom facilities, individual air conditioning, and spacious storage. This makes each cabin a comfortable place to retreat to after each dive from the Philippines' dive sites.

Social areas aboard this diving vessel are constructed to make one feel quite warm and welcome. The lounge, being air-conditioned, houses a cocktail bar combined with comfortable seating in addition to a flat-screen TV; thus, it is an ideal spot for relaxation among fellow divers. Meals are taken in an open-air, shaded dining area, with fresh, just-prepared dishes taken with guests together, in open views of the surrounding Philippine islands. Furthermore, it is enhanced with attentive service and a variety of meals to try, created to appeal to the various tastes, which simply means that every meal is not just a nutritious occasion but also an opportunity for connection among the guests through shared diving stories.

The dive deck will be designed to meet several diver needs and will feature expansive areas to assemble dive gear, individual storage compartments with hangers, and separate washing basins for diving and camera gear. Freshwater showers on deck add comfort after a dive, while camera corners with charging stations mean underwater photographers have problems preparing for a specific dive. Nitrox is available to extend dive times deeper into the Philippines' world-class dive sites, including coral reefs, drop-offs, and sites serving as strongholds for larger marine species like sharks and manta rays. Itineraries include diving routes through Tubbataha Reef, Malapascua, and the Visayas, offering guests the chance to explore some of the Philippines' most iconic marine reserves.

This Philippines liveaboard has onboard-powered tenders that allow guests to reach various dive sites quickly. Alternatively, kayaks also offer yet another way to see things. Added to these are facilities that allow flexibility for those divers who enjoy structured dives and casual exploration. Other amenities include equipment rentals, laundry services, and massage options, balancing the sense of adventure and relaxation. In between dives, guests can hang around the sundeck, enjoying the serenity and the views of the surroundings. This vessel offers divers a high-quality experience, exploring the Philippines' dynamic marine world in comfort and style.

Frequently Asked Questions About Philippine Siren

What makes Tubbataha National Park special?

Tubbataha National Park is known for its exceptional biodiversity, with over 600 fish species, 300 coral species, and iconic marine life from hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, and nesting turtles, among others. The peculiar ecosystem comprised two atolls and a reef called Jessie Beazley Reefs with walls, and drop-offs, and was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visits to the ranger station on North Atoll provide a special look into reef conservation programs

What is not allowed in Tubbataha Marine Park?

Gloves, tank bangers, reef hooks, pointers, and drones without permits are not allowed to protect marine life and coral ecosystems. Single-use plastics, including bottles, straws, and wrappers, are not allowed under the "Let's Make Tubbataha Plastic Free" campaign. Reusable drink containers are necessary, and eco-friendly tumblers can be bought onboard

Are there activities for non-divers in Tubbataha Marine Park?

Very minimal activities for non-divers. It is not allowed to land on islets, and snorkeling or swimming is forbidden because of safety concerns

Is there a minimum number of dives required to join any Tubbataha trip?

Tubbataha itineraries are for experienced divers only. Advanced Open Water certification and a minimum number of logged dives are often required. Guests may be required to provide proof of certification and logged dives prior to embarkation. If divers cannot show proof of the required experience, they may be excluded from some dives. Advanced Open Water certification courses may be offered onboard, subject to instructor availability

What dive sites are included in the Visayas, Southern Leyte & Malapascua itinerary?

This itinerary will cover dives in Limawasa Island, Sogod Bay, Cabilao, Balicasag, Bohol, and Malapascua. The dives include macro diving, school of fish, whale shark, and thresher shark sightings. The dive sites vary from sloping reefs and muck diving hotspots to steep walls filled with turtles, barracuda, ghost pipefish, and nudibranchs

What is the weather like in the Philippines?

Weather: The Philippines has tropical weather with two distinct seasons, dry (November to May) and rainy (June to November). Coastal temperatures range from 27°C-34°C with the warmest months being March to May. Tubbataha's diving season, from mid-March to mid-June, generally offers calm seas, and clear days with occasional light rain.
Water temperatures range from 24°C to 28°C over the course of a year. During the warmer season, a 3mm shorty or rash vest will suffice; during cooler months or for divers who are inclined to feel cold, then a 3mm-5mm long wetsuit is recommended. Also recommended would be an extra vest for additional comfort or even a hood

Can you ask for more……?
The pre-tour administration is extraordinary detailed, takes time and effort. But that’s Master Liveaboards and will optimise the safety protocols. Safety on board is a extended issue including a training with life vest. The service starts with the free transportation if you are in the Cebu city/ Mactan area. On board the crew can read your mind if you need something, but are not too close or disturbing interfering. Food is awesome, soft drinks and snacks for free and there is plenty of all! Just perfect. The dive spots on our 11 days Visayas tour were well chosen and diverse. That the Whale sharks didn’t show up was a pity but that’s wat nature is all about (thanks for not visiting Oslob!). Cabins are huge for a liveaboard ship and with a max of 16 divebuddys (we were 14) it’s almost familiar among new friends. The cruise director Jan did a great job with humour, compassion and competence. This was my second trip on the Philippine Siren and hopefully not my last.

Great experience!
The chooses of divespots were supremely! 2 weeks before I was on a different liveaboard in almost the same area where they choose different, but much less interesting divesides. The divedirectors Maggy and Roy made all the difference. They did a very professional but also carring job. Thanks to the both of you! A shame was, that due to the thyfoon of December 2020 where the ship was blown on the shore, both of the two masts were broken and now not at place. Without the sails, the appearance of the ship was not as nice as I have seen it on the advertised pictures.

Great Dive
I really enjoyed the dive. The rooms on the boat were the largest I ever experienced, the food was fine and the crew was outstanding. The diving was fantastic. The only negative point was the lack of fish !!!, the corals were great so were the critters, but there is way overfishing even in the marine reserves !!! , and I was told the natives ate all the fish during COVID. I had been to most of the sites several years before & can see the clear difference.
