Monad Shoal is all about the Threshers. You wake up at what would usually be ungodly hours of the morning just to go visit them. Monad itself is not a hard site to visit. It's a simple swim out and back against a wall/reef so it's really not that difficult. Depending on which part of Monad you go to, you'll either stay behind a rope and wait for the Threshers or you'll be swimming around hoping to run into them. It's a great site and the Threshers are worth getting up at 4am. It's amazing.
