All about Kimud Shoal dive site

Kimud Shoal, near Malapascua, is a submerged shoal associated with shark activity and blue-water diving. It has a more open, early-morning character than shallow reef sites.

What to see

Thresher sharks may be seen in the wider Malapascua area, along with hammerheads seasonally, eagle rays, jacks, reef fish, and shoal-edge marine life.

When To Go Diving

Malapascua is often strongest from March to May, though thresher-related diving is possible year-round. Water is generally 26–30°C, with visibility often 10–25 metres.
