
Teman Liveaboard, Indonesia
Teman a two masts wooden sailboat. Divers can choose trips with a different duration from 5 to 12 nights and explore the most recognizable destinations of Indonesia Komodo and Raja Ampat. The boat has a rather small capacity, so you can rely on personal care. The liveaboard offers diving at best and is a well-known destination for a smart price.
Boat interior
The liveaboard has 5 cabins that can accommodate 12 persons. 3 rooms with one double bed are located in the front part of the boat. 2 staterooms with double and single beds suit families and can be booked for three persons.
There are two sun decks, one is shaded and the other is open on board for the perfect relaxation after diving. The lounge area has a big wooden deck for a friendly evening and conversation. Boat’s salon is combined with an open kitchen so you can see the chef cooking.
Dive deck
The boat is equipped with two Bauer compressors. Two wooden dinghies can get you to the remote dive sites. All our dive guides are now local Indonesian professionals.
Safety
Safety is always important. The boat’s crew pays special attention to providing safety on board. There are 2 life rafts, jackets, and buoys. Teman liveaboard is also supplied with fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency oxygen. Cruise Director and crew members trained to O2 providing and first aid.
Itineraries
Itineraries offer to explore the best Indonesia has Komodo and Raja Ampat. Their variety of fish species and corals won’t leave you indifferent. Add to this a chance to see big pelagics and you will get a perfect diving weekend. This area offers different underwater landscapes with pinnacles, seamounts, walls, and reefs. This area is also great for macro diving.
When to Go
Komodo is great for diving all year round, but the best time to visit this region is from April and August. To dive in Raja Ampat is better to choose the time frame from October until the end of April

Taka Saleh: this seamount is made of four pinnacles. From the smallest to the biggest, this underwater reef has explosive marine life.
Four Kings: a highlight in Misool. These four underwater pinnacles have a unique topography and are full of fish: trevallies, harlequin sweetlips, batfish…
Wedding Сake: a rock in a mushroom shape with numerous overhangs.
Mooring in the north of Wayil.
Day 3:
Departure to fiabacet.
Fiabacet Ridge: another highlight in Misool. This underwater ridge links the sites of Tank Rock and Nudi Rock. Grey sharks, groupers, and yellow fins barracudas.
Magic Mountain: the dive site of Missol. Absolutely stunning.
Boo Windows: a reference! Named like this from the two rock formations with holes eroded, which allow the divers to swim through. Amazing site with dramatic topography. Napoleon wrasse, batfish but also ghost pipefish can be found here.
Mooring in the north of Yiliet.
Day 4:
Baby Rock: the eastern part of this tiny rock has an exceptional topography: wall, canyon, and pinnacle. On the west, great fish activity can be observed on the slope. Mooring between the limestones of the lagoon of Balbulol.
No Contest: underwater ridge with multiple pinnacles. Exposed to the currents there is a great marine activity there. Dinghy ride in the stunning lagoon of Balbulol. Sugar loaves, crystal clear water, and breathtaking landscapes.
Balbulol Corner: a shallow dive in a wonderful cave. The entrance is an open canyon covered with soft coral. A haven for nudibranchs.
Overnight sailing to Penemu.
Day 5:
Melissa’s Garden: famous dive site in raja ampat. It is absolutely stunning and full of life! Field of unharmed stag horn coral in the safety stop area. So uplifting to find such an intact coral nowadays! Some underwater ridges from each part of the site guarantee the sight of pelagic and sharks coming from the deep.
My Reef: a ridge one will not find on the marine maps located in the north of the island of Penemu. Yellow fins barracudas, jackfish, reef sharks, and groupers. One cannot be bored. Walk to the panorama of Penemu, with a stunning view of the lagoon and the limestones. 2 hours of navigation to Yangeffo.
Citrus Ridge: a submerged ridge that crosses the strait, separating gam from Yangeffo. Amazingly colorful hard coral, barracuda, and wobbegong sharks!
Day 6:
Mayhem: another submerged reef near Yangeffo. 3 hours of navigation to the entrance of Aljui bay.
Purple Haze: we will start the dive exploring some rocks covered with soft coral and end the dive colonized with purple sea fans.
Solar Jetty (night dive): a great night dive in front of the pearl farm of Aljui. Frogfish, scorpion fish, and for the luckiest, an encounter with a walking shark.

Day 7:
Departure to Kawe.
Canggo: spectacular dive site! Exposed to strong currents, canggo requires careful planning. The numerous tunnels, pinnacles, and walls attract schools of snappers, giant napoleon wrasse, bump head wrasses, trevallies, and a lot more, which are excited by the currents. Divers get ready for the show!
Weka’s bow: exposed to the swell, there is a big marine activity there. 3 hours of navigation to reach Wayag.
Figure Eight Rock: a peaceful site for the last dive of the day.

Day 8:
The icon of the Raja Ampat, Wayag is a real masterpiece from mother earth. Its lagoon is a labyrinth of sugar loaves. Protected from the winds and the currents it is a nursery for many species such as the manta rays and the sharks. Nonetheless, we will go diving outside the lagoon.
Pelagic Rock: a rock exposed to the swell, the underwater fauna, and flora are amazing. Some grey reef sharks are often spotted there too.
Ridge Rock: closer to the lagoon. This rock is made of an underwater ridge ending on a pinnacle full of colors. Coral garden: an easy and enjoyable dive in a coral garden full of activity. Walk to the amazing mount Pindito. Departure at 4:00 to Kawe.
Day 9:
Black Rock: these black rocks pointing out of the sea, hide a large reef. The most beautiful part is the little circus located in the north, spreading to the west and ending on huge pinnacles colonized by soft corals. Blacktip sharks, yellow fins barracudas, giant groupers, and many more.
Eagle Rock: famous for the big favorites of the park: the manta rays and for the big amount of sea fans.
Black Forest: the best dive site of Wofoh! Paradise for seahorses hiding in uncountable sea fans, porcelain crabs, boxer or peacock tail shrimps to quote just a few.
Mooring for the night close to the island of Wofoh.
Day 10:
Departure to the Dampier Strait.
Manta Ridge: this dive is dedicated to the other superstar of the park!
Sawandarek jetty: a jetty covered with purple soft coral, which attracts a lot of fish. Some pygmy seahorses can be spotted (pontohi) also.
Sorido wall: close to Cape Kri, this site is amazing during high tide.
Mooring in the south of the island of Kri. Walks on the beaches and sunset, a taste of paradise!
Day 11:
Cape Kri: the one you cannot miss from the Dampier. A real legend. Hundreds of species of fish gather here for the pleasure of the divers.
Sardine: the seamount of the strait. Another site that cannot be missed!
Sapokreng (night dive): the best night dive in the area. Octopus, rhinopias, ghost pipe fish, and numerous species of scorpion fish are to be spotted there. A must!
Day 12:
For the early birds a walk to discover the famous birds of paradise will be organized. Please note that people willing to do it could not join for the morning dive.
Batu Lima: white sandy slope covered with wonderful corals.
Blue Magic: one of the famous site of the area to end this cruise on a high note! Grey sharks, barracudas, wobbegong, big eye trevallies, spanish mackerel and who knows, some oceanic mantas could come and say bye!
5 hours of navigation back to Sorong.

cape kri: the one you cannot miss from the Dampier. a real legend. hundreds of species of fish gather here for the pleasure of the divers.
sorido wall: close from cape kri, this site is amazing during high tide.
sawandarek jetty: a jetty covered with purple soft coral, which attracts a lot of fish. some pygmy seahorses can also be spotted (pontohi). navigation to yangeffo. mooring for the night.
Day 3:
mayhem: a submerged reef with an abundant marine life. yellow fins barracudas, sweetlips, grey and blacktip sharks gather here. for the lucky ones a face to face with the famous wobbegong sharks!
citrus ridge: a submerged ridge which cross the strait, separating gam from yangeffo. amazingly colorful hard coral, barracudas and wobbegong sharks!
pef seamount: another seamount on the western part of pef, with an incredible marine life, a lot of black tips and schools of fish.

Day 4:
yeben kecil: underwater ridge full of fish and amazing soft and hard corals.
barracuda: seamount famous for the schools of bumphead wrasses, surgeon fish and obviously barracudas. dinghy ride in the lagoon of penemu and walk to the top of the hill to enjoy this breath taking panorama of the famous sugar loaf. galaxy: this site, located in front of the lagoon of penemu, is an easy dive in an intact coral garden. perfect for a third dive. mooring in the south of the island.
Day 5:

Day 6:
manta ridge: this dive is dedicated to the other super star of the park!
mike’s point: although this site is exposed to the currents and requires a careful planning, its topography is breath taking. crevasses, overhangs and walls. dinghy ride in the mangroves of gam.
sapokreng (night dive): the best night dive in the area. octopus, rhinopias, ghost pipe fish and numerous species of scorpion fish are to be spotted there. a must!

Day 7:
for the most motivated ones a walk to discover the famous birds of paradise will be organized. please note that people willing to do it could not join for the morning dive.

Program
Day 1:
Meet & greet at the airport. Group transfer to the port. Onboarding, meeting the crew & briefing.
Days 2-6:
Departing & check dive. Safari according to the planned route.
Day 7:
2 dives on the last day. Return to the port.
Day 8:
Check-out from the yacht, group transfer to the airport.
Routes can be affected by adverse weather conditions and unforeseen events, force majeure or other similar reasons
