Kawe, in northern Raja Ampat, offers remote reef diving with current-fed sites and strong fish life. It has a wilder feel than the central Dampier Strait.
What to see
Reef sharks, jacks, barracuda, fusiliers, turtles, rays, soft corals, sea fans, and reef fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best from October to April, with current and sea state checked locally. Water is generally around 27–30°C.
