Emperor Harmoni Liveaboard, Indonesia
Emperor Harmoni liveaboard began running trips in September 2022 and introduces new levels of comfort and luxury to Indonesian travel. Handcrafted from Sulawesi Ironwood, this purpose-built yacht for Indonesia's very special waters is few on the 48-meter yacht fitted out with twin engines in this region. It can accommodate 24 guests with its 12 en-suite cabins, all fitted with air-conditioning to ensure comfort while covering some of the most beautiful diving areas of Komodo, Raja Ampat liveaboard, and Banda Sea.
Each cabin has been individually designed to meet numerous guest needs. Two cabins have twin beds, four have a double with a single over, and two are with double beds on the lower deck. On the upper deck are two cabins with convertible twin beds offering two double beds; all cabins with en-suite bathrooms where you might retreat to at the end of each diving day.
Below the yacht's main deck, find an air-conditioned lounge with soft seating, a 49" HD television, and a vast digital library of movies, music, and books. Board games provide additional entertainment. There is also an internationally stocked bar complementing the dining area and a special station for charging cameras on the yacht.
The upper deck also carries an outside sitting area with sunbeds and bean bags to relax comfortably while enjoying the panoramic views. Wi-Fi at an extra cost may be used to keep in touch during a journey through the Indonesian archipelago.
The diving facilities aboard this Indonesia liveaboard are of world-class standard. Just dive three times a day with the support of four dive guides and three 5-meter RIB tenders, so access to the water is quite easy. It is highly considered to make safety the highest priority, and all divers are obliged to dive computers, SMBs (surface marker buoys), and torches in case of night dives. Free Nitrox is provided for all certified divers. The vessel is equipped with 12-liter aluminum tanks; 15-liter tanks are available upon request. Dive equipment rentals can be made onboard, and prior arrangements are highly recommended.
Indonesia dives offer such variety-from mantas and sharks down to beautiful coral reef gardens and rare macro life-this yacht strikes the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation for an unforgettable experience in this incredible country

Frequently Asked Questions About Emperor Harmoni
Facilities Available with Emperor Harmoni
What Diving Requirements Should Divers Know?
Certification is required for all divers to at least Advanced Open Water or equivalent to join these trips. The boat requires 50 logged dives minimum prior to the Komodo itinerary and 30 logged dives minimum prior to the Raja Ampat itinerary. Drift dives can be expected on many dives for both routes; therefore, comfort in current-heavy waters is suggested. No technical diving, solo diving, or decompression diving to allow safety to be the utmost priority
When to Go Diving in Indonesia?
The Banda Sea has the best diving conditions during transitional months: March to April and September to December, when the seas are calmer. Komodo National Park has excellent conditions during the dry season, from April to October. Divers visiting South Komodo during this time may experience cooler waters, which bring in nutrient-rich currents, enhancing marine life sightings.
In general, Indonesia can offer diving all year round, but each area has its best time to dive due to seasonal weather, water conditions, and marine life activity
What Marine Life Can Be Seen on Emperor Harmoni Itineraries?
The Banda Sea attracts divers seeking hammerheads, thresher sharks, and silvertip sharks, commonly sighted patrolling the blue. Schools of tuna, Rainbow Runners, and barracuda are common, while the reef itself hosts Blue Ring octopus, stargazers, and frogfish.
Komodo National Park is equally impressive, with healthy coral reefs hosting white and blacktip sharks, grey reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, and hawksbill turtles. The nutrient-rich waters attract mantas and mobula rays, while macro life hides among pink and orange soft corals. Leaf scorpionfish, crocodile fish, and blue ribbon eels are highlights for critter lovers
What Are Water Temperatures Like in Indonesia?
The normal sea temperatures in Raja Ampat and the Banda Sea never fluctuate much, which means that comfortable diving, without heavy exposure suits, occurs within a range of 27°C to 30°C. The water can be cooler during transitional months because of thermoclines below 20 meters, though divers may encounter this
What is so Special about Diving in Indonesia?
The specific ecosystem of each region ensures that no dive is ever the same, catering to divers of all preferences and skill levels in an exceptional manner
