The liveaboard features a super-large dive deck and water level platform. There is a huge area to work with underwater photo cameras. n board hot tub will help to relax after diving. Join one of the Socorro trips to see giant mantas, dolphins, and sharks or book a cruise to Guadelupe for exciting diving with Great White Sharks.

Boat Interior
The boat offers accommodation in 13 cabins for 25 passengers. 8 twin staterooms and 1 triple are located on the lower deck. 4 suits are placed on the upper deck. All with big windows, and wardrobes.
This yacht has a spacious salon, combined with an entertainment area, where divers can spend an evening after diving. Here they will find different videos and cozy comfy couches. The separate dining zone is comfortable too. Also, there is a room, where is a room, where the guest of Nautilus Explorer Liveaboard can read books in silence or chat with other divers. my time is ideal to enjoy the sun on the sundeck of the boat. An outstanding view is guaranteed.

Dive Deck
The dive deck is spacious, so every diver on a boat will be comfortable to prepare before diving. There is plenty of space to store diving gear, also a camera station to maintain cameras.

Safety
The boat made of steel and thanks to her construction boat runs very smoothly. Liveaboard is certified according to SOLAS and ISM standards. Also, a boat has all the necessary equipment to ensure your safety, including life jackets and first aid kits.

Giant Mantas
One of the most amazing things about this boat is the chance to dive with big mantas. One of the boat's itineraries includes a trip to Socorro Island - the homeland of these gorgeous creatures. They coming so close that you can almost touch them. Also, early January is a perfect time to listen to whale songs. Liveaboard offers trips, that include swimming with humpback whales and several kinds of dolphins. It is an exciting possibility, that is very rare and safari on Nautilus Explorers can give a chance to meet such amazing animals.

Great White Sharks
Also, Liveaboard can offer you a unique opportunity of cage diving with great white sharks. The route that yacht is visiting includes Guadalupe Island. These animals are often can bee is seen here. Unlike other destinations that offer diving with sharks, here animal doesn’t have to be attracted. Many of them are swimming ear constantly. Plus, divers would be glad to know that the boat's crew pays more attention to diving with Great White Sharks.

Itinerary
I
tineraries run on Socorro and Guadalupe Island the most popular destination for diving in Mexico. These two diving destinations are recognized by divers all over the world. First, it’s amazing diving with a big animal, also, there are divers of coral and different fish. This destination is made for underwater photography. You can bring home many beautiful pictures of dolphins, mantas, and humpback whales. 5, 9 or 10 nights trips are scheduled. So you can choose how long you want to stay on board. Socorro and Guadalupe Islands can be interesting even for experienced divers, that have been already too many places. Diving here promises extraordinary diving adventures.

When to go

From November to December is the right time to visit Socorro Island dive spots. Manta rays are often seen here at this time of the year, also, visibility is good for diving. From January to April is a good time to swim with dolphins and whales.

Summer and autumn are great to dive with sharks. Guadalupe Island attracts more these critters this time of the year than ever

Socorro June 18th/28th- Nautilis explorer
Amazing trip and crew, this was a lifetime experience and I am so happy that I made the decision to go, Divebooker was easy and helpful. The Islands and sealife were as beautiful as I had hoped for. I went solo and made many friends. Going back in December!

Excellent Trip. Excellent diving. Wonderful people. Best way to dive
This was my first live aboard, and I was super impressed. The boat was very comfortable, the crew were super nice, wonderful, caring people, divemasters were fantastic, food was delicious, and diving was amazing. I can honestly say this was the best diving of my life (5 years of diving ). Highly recommended.

diving with the tram on the explorer
I found it a total pleasure diving with the team on the explorer , and it was a team even the captain got his hands dirty I have worked on various liveaboard and wow did these guys make it work , All the guides were dive professionals the captain was out of this world too and the food was well amazing , taco night was totally cool as per the diving, we rotate in groups of eight so your first one day second the next , the group's can also be split in to 3 different levels, of diver so after a good look at a map you can explore with a buddy which for me is really important . standard 32 nitrox is used it's just safer ! possible to go closed circuit as well diving was world class . But highlights for me were on the last dive being asked what cocktail you would like to be delivered to you as you get your kit off to mum in to a hot tub . full service crew so thanks to you all . my only gripe is the trip reports published on social media are perhaps a bit talked or flowered up .but all the usual suspects are there just may be not in the 1000 may be 100s if you know what I mean . And I feel an addition of a full time deck hand would take stress off of the dive crew .yann ,pa to,rondonlio and ravioli aka mirko and the rest of you guys I have never seen a crew work so hard thanks

Huge pods of dolphins, turtles, mobulas
Orcas in La Reina

Day 1:
Drop by our SeeCreatures in downtown Cabo to get kitted up with any rental gear you might need and take advantage of the Backscatter photo workshop. Or if you prefer, sign up for some additional Cabo diving before embarkation ng our beautiful Gallant lady. Please be back at the SeeCreatures Cabo by16:00 to board your liveaboard and depart for the Sea of Cortez. There will be a cocktail hour on the deck to watch the sunset. Enjoy a smooth overnight run continuing north.

Days 2-5:
We’ll be exploring the best of the southern Sea of Cortez including our old favorites: the wreck of the ferry Salvatierra, the beautiful Suwanee Reef teeming with life, the charming sea lions at Los Islotes, giant mantas at La Reyna, Las Animas, and Cerralvo Island. Years ago, we stopped offering trips into the Sea of Cortez because the mantas and sharks had disappeared. We are incredibly gratified that the population is rebounding, and we should see sharks, a chance of seeing mantas, as well as the more typical Sea of Cortez life. Program

Mobula rays migration
Orcas may be encountered
Flying rays of the Sea of Cortez
Suitable for snorkelers, swimmers, and divers of all experience levels and fitness

Day 1:
Meet & greet at the airport. Group transfer to the port. Onboarding, meeting the crew & briefing.

Day 2:
On your first day out at sea, we’ll be heading out in search of the mobulas. Baja Expeditions has been doing this for 47 years, and our crew is comprised of pioneering old timers who know these waters, and its wildlife, better than anyone. Anyone who is interested can get out and have a freediving lesson; we’ll have you descending to 30-ft by the end of the day. For a more relaxed affair, you can opt to spend your time onboard relaxing on the sundeck with a good book or soaking in the hot tub. We also have kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.

Day 3-4:
For at least two days of the trip, we will be using an aircraft to provide aerial spotting to maximize your encounters with the mobulas and, hopefully, orcas. Our pilot specializes in finding orcas and is the very best in the business. The best place to find them is in the triangle between Espiritu Santo, Carpenter Rock on the west side of Cerralvo, and Las Ventanas on Baja, and we will be focusing our search within this area. Be patient, as it might take ten splashes for the mobulas and orcas to allow snorkelers and freedivers into the middle of the pack, but you’ll be rewarded with truly spectacular encounters. We are only able to launch six divers or snorkelers at one time  with the mobulas or orcas to give everyone the best experience. But that doesn’t mean we can’t launch 2 sequential groups of six. You will get as much time as you want in the water. After a delicious lunch on deck, we’ll head back out on the water again in the afternoon. We will keep our support boats running as late as anyone wants up until dusk.

Day 5-7:
For the next couple of days, we’ll be back on our own again to look for mobulas and orcas. In the evening, you’ll have the chance to see the mobula rays in a different light. Literally. There will be the opportunity to go snorkelling at night in a calm, protected bay, where we will suspend lights off the bottom of the boat to attract swarms of mobulas. The mobulas come in to feed on the plankton exposed by the lights, providing a spectacular show against the inky ocean. If you’re a certified diver with your own gear, we can also arrange for you to go night diving.

Day 8:
Check-out from the yacht, group transfer to the airport.
