Amazing communication, safety, and comfort!
I had a wonderful experience with Divebooker and Nautilus. I am a solo female traveler and I couldn't have felt safer. The communication was wonderful from the time of booking until the end of the trip. I was extremely satisfied and didn't want to leave. I will certainly be diving and booking with Divebooker and Nautilus again.

Mantastic diving, amazing Captain, crew and dive guides
Great Socorro trip in May 2024! We had oceanic mantas on every single dive (19 dives in total)! At the Boiler, we had 5 mantas circling us during the whole dive, and mantas kept us company during the other 3 dives of the day. Glorious last day of diving! We saw many species of sharks all week long although in small numbers (Galapagos sharks, white tips, silvertips, hammerheads, one tiger shark). Very playful bottlenose dolphins came during one dive very close to all divers. We saw literally hundreds of tunas passing on several dives, walls of bonitos, big schools of jackfish, wahoos everyday, the biggest lobsters I have ever seen on every dive site walking around freely, lots of tropical fish, octopus, nudibranchs, starfish, small anemones, corals, stingray, torpedo ray etc. One group even spotted false killer whales on the surface! Revillagigedos (aka Socorro) is an underwater paradise that never ceases to surprise me. Nautilus Belle Amie is the most spacious and most comfortable boat in the Nautilus fleet in my opinion. Large dining area, comfortable twins cabins in the lower deck. Plenty of hot water for the shower, quiet individual AC, very good safety features (fire alarms, fire extinguishers, safety drills, life raft, life jacket, strong and steady steel vessel etc.), very good crew with very kind and caring hostesses Mariella and Fernanda, very friendly and safe dive team (Juan-David, Daniel, Imanol and Eline), super sweet and very experienced Captain Beto :) I felt I was in very safe and warm hands the whole trip <3 Water temps ranged from 23° C (73° F) to 26° C (79° F) depending on the dive site, the visibility varied from 15 to 30 m. We had smooth 24 hrs+ crossings on both ways, mostly flat seas for the dives and plenty of sunshine. There is a warm jacuzzi on the top deck to warm up after a dive or to enjoy some more bubbles. Food was buffet style for lunch (though no much choice of food compared to liveaboards in other parts of the world). I regret that is is mostly American style food (steak, hamburger etc.). I wish we could have spicy Mexican options at every meal, including breakfast, like some other liveaboards in Socorro. The chefs did a great job nonetheless to provide veggie guests with suitable dishes. I really enjoyed some of the desserts at dinner. I highly recommend diving Revillagigedos on Nautilus Belle Amie and I hope to be back someday for more adventures in this exciting part of the World.

Giant mantas
Schooling hammerheads
Humpback whales when season
Silky shark night snorkel

Day 1:
Onboarding, meeting the crew & briefing.

Day 2:
Today is a traveling and relaxing day at sea. It is a one day run out to the islands. An orientation briefing will be held in the morning, followed by a fire and boat safety drill. A drill? On holiday? Don’t worry, it is for your safety but we will make it lots of fun. We are proud to have been the first, and some of the only, ISM safety certified passenger vessel dive boats in the world, the same safety certification as the largest cruise ships. We’ll keep you as busy as you like on this sea day with Manta 101 in the afternoon, then you will have a chance to prep your gear, read a book, relax on the sun deck, or check out the movie selection on our onboard wifi. We will be watching for the “green flash” at sunset, and while the cocktail hour is officially at 19:00 every evening, many of our guests enjoy some adult beverages well before that on sea days! We should arrive at San Benedicto Island that evening allowing you a calm night to relax and get a restful sleep before the next morning’s excitement of diving with the friendliest giant mantas in the world.

Day 3-7:
Over five full dive days, you will be able to experience some of our favorite sites such as El Canyon, the Boiler, Red Rocks, Roca Partida, Cabo Pearse, Punta Tosca, and Roca Oneal. We know that many of our guests want the option of as many dives as possible and we strive to offer an average of 4 dives a day, other than the day that we do our mandatory check-in at the local navy base when you will likely have the option of 3 dives plus our world-famous silky shark night snorkel. Our roots are in the cold, current-swept waters of BC and Alaska and we have always catered to experienced self-reliant divers looking for complete freedom on their dives. These divers are usually first in the water. We love buddying up with new divers looking for the reassurance of being with a dive master from the time they start gearing up until they are back on the big boat. Most divers are somewhere mid-spectrum between these 2 groups and we make sure they are very well looked after as well! Note that several dives may be quite challenging and not suitable for divers of lower experience levels. The number of dives on offer is subject to weather, the whims of Mother Ocean, and crowding by other dive boats. We will have other stuff going on to keep you as busy as you like with kayaks and paddle boards, shoreline tours, humpback whale watching (January to April), manta ID in the late afternoon, and after-dinner presentations. Of course, it’s always your option to find a nice quiet place to relax with a book, have a nice snooze, or maybe have a splash in our sparkling clear hot tubs.

Day 8:
We will likely get underway very early this morning for the voyage back to Cabo San Lucas. This is the perfect day to check out photos and videos with the new friends you made onboard, pack your dive gear up, and take time to relax before reality sets back in. The islands, the mantas, the sharks, and the dolphins are almost “otherworldly” and we hope the magic stays with you for a long time.

Day 9:
Check-out from the yacht.

This is a stunning time of year to dive the Sea of Cortez with water temps in the high 70s or 80s and beautiful cobalt blue typical of summer. One of the nicest things about this time of year is that the seas are generally very calm without any motion aboard our heavy steel-stabilized ships. We’ll be exploring the best of the southern Sea of Cortez including our old favorites: the wreck of the ferry Salvatierra, the beautiful Suwanee Reef teeming with life, the charming sea lions at Los Islotes, giant mantas at La Reyna, Las Animas, and Cerralvo Island. Years ago, we stopped offering trips into the Sea of Cortez because the mantas and sharks had disappeared. We are incredibly gratified that the population is rebounding, and we should see sharks, a chance of seeing mantas, as well as the more typical Sea of Cortez life. Our choice of dive sites will depend on weather, visibility, animals, etc. - you can be assured your captain & crew will do their very best to give you the greatest possible dive experience. Shore hikes, kayaking, or scuba
Massive schools of mobulas
Multiple pods of orcas (killer whales)
Humpback whales, whale sharks, cow nose rays, and hundreds of dolphins

Day 1:
SeeCreatures is located near the harbour in downtown Cabo San Lucas and is your home away from home. We encourage you to fly in early and allow us to arrange for some local diving. Your trip includes a complimentary photo lesson at 1:00 pm. Our photo pros will coach you on how to get that perfect underwater image, help set up, service or repair your camera gear, and assist with camera rentals. You are welcome to drop your bags off and check-in whenever it’s most convenient. We ask that you please check-in at SeeCreatures Cabo by 4:30pm latest for your complimentary coach transfer to La Paz, where our hosties will be waiting on the back deck for you with trays of margaritas and champagne.

This trip is predominantly focused on snorkelling and freediving, however if you would like to dive we have rental gear available at SeeCreatures before boarding, or you can bring your own gear.

Days 2-7:
Our expert team is dedicated to providing the best possible wildlife experiences. With extensive knowledge of the region, our crew specializes in observing and understanding marine life, ensuring you make the most of your time on the water. They have one goal in mind: to maximize your encounters with the animals.

You might have heard that the best place to see the mobulas is in the triangle between Espiritu Santo, Carpenter Rock on the west side of Cerralvo, and Las Ventanas on Baja. We are seeing animals like never before and will take you to where a mama blue whale and calf might be waiting for you, or humpback whales, whale sharks, cow nose rays, and hundreds of dolphins. Be patient, as it might take ten splashes for the mobulas to allow snorkelers and freedivers into the middle of the pack, but you’ll be rewarded with truly spectacular encounters.

Your day might start with a dive or snorkel with typical RHIB missions heading out at 11am after the local Corumuel wind lies down making it easier to critter spot. Our RHIB, or high-speed skiff, carries 12 guests, so everyone is welcome onboard at the same time.

After a delicious lunch on deck, we’ll head back out on the water in the afternoon. We will keep our support boat running as late as anyone wants up until dusk. You will get plenty of time in the water.

Your ship will always be close by. Take a break whenever you want and relax on the sundeck with a good book or soaking in the hot tub. We also have kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.

In the evening, you’ll have the chance to see the mobula rays in a different light. Literally. There will be the opportunity to go snorkelling at night in a calm, protected bay, where we will suspend lights off the bottom of the boat to attract swarms of mobulas. The mobulas come in to feed on the plankton exposed by the lights, providing a spectacular show against the inky ocean. If you’re a certified diver with your own gear, we can also arrange for you to go night diving.

The highlight of any trip is if we see the black fins of orcas slicing through the water. All interactions are conducted in compliance with the laws and regulations of Mexico. For our diving friends, bring your dive gear, and we will be sure to get you some splashes on local dive sites.

Day 8:
Morning breakfast. Disembark at 8:30 am in La Paz and complimentary transfer back to either SeeCreatures Cabo San Lucas or SJD Airport.

Or if you prefer, sign up for some additional Cabo diving before embarkion ng our beautiful Gallant lady. Please be back at the SeeCreatures Cabo by16:00 to board your liveaboard and depart for the Sea of Cortez. There will be a cocktail hour on the deck to watch the sunset. Enjoy a smooth overnight run continuing north.

Days 2-7:
On the last day, we’ll have dinner and one last night under the stars before departing overnight for Cabo San Lucas.
