Three different itineraries are offered: Sea of Cortez, Socorro Islands, and Guadalupe. Excellent services on board. Several types of sarks can be seen including silkies, Galapagos sharks, silvertips. The boat provides a variety of Mexican food, European, Asian dishes.
Boat interior
The boat has space for 20 passengers. There are 10 comfortable cabins onboard. All are ensuite. There are 2 cabins with a double and single bed, 1 room with double bed, and 7 staterooms that have bunk-style beds. These cabins suits for sharing.
She has a spacious upper deck with numerous sun loungers. It’s shaded part is perfect to relax and read a book or enjoy the magnificent view of blue waters. The boat also has a bar where soft drinks, cocktails, liquors, and draft beer are served. The lounge area is combined with the dining room.
Dive deck
The dive deck was designed with divers comfort in mind. There are boxes to store your gear and a hanging area for wetsuits, several charging points, and needed facilities to maintain equipment after the dive.
Safety
The crew cares about safety on board. The boat has life vests and first aid kit, oxygen, and fire fighting equipment.
Itineraries
Itineraries can show you Mexican diving like no other. Boat offer to discover Sea of Cortez, which can be considered as one of the most diversified diving destinations. Because of tides and strong currents waters of Sea of Cortez are always full of plankton. Many of sea creatures attract to Sea of Cortez. Sea lions, dolphins, whale sharks can be spotted here. One of the main attractions of The Sea of Cortez is a chance of meeting whales. Killer whales, pilot whales, humpback whales, and even sperm whales are common guests of this destination. Besides large creatures Sea of Cortez is a home for lots of seahorses, nudibranchs, and angelfish.
Liveaboard offers to dive on Socorro Island. You will not see colorful corals around this destination. The pure underwater scenery is only a background. When it comes to the Socorro Islands, it’s all about big animals.
When to go
There is no particular season that can be considered as the high season for diving in the Sea of Cortez. The time of visiting depends on what creature you want to meet. Whales season is short, it measures with migrating of these creatures. For Socorro, it’s the end of January till the end of February. Hammerheads can be often meet from April to June. Mantas and reef sharks can be seen almost all year round except time from July to October
