Cabo Pearce, at Socorro, is one of the Revillagigedo Islands’ signature sites, known for giant oceanic manta encounters and open-ocean diving. It has a remote, blue-water, liveaboard-only character.

What to see

Giant oceanic mantas, dolphins, reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, tuna, jacks, and humpback whales in the wider region during winter may be seen.

When To Go Diving

Socorro’s main season is November to May. Water ranges roughly from 21–28°C, with visibility often 15–30 metres depending on month and plankton.
