Deep Andaman Queen is a brand new liveaboard built in 2012, she has air conditioned cabins with private bathroom. She has a variety of cabin configurations to suit our guests’ requirement from quad, triple and twin shared standard cabins on the lower deck, to Deluxe Double bed and Twin beds cabins on the main deck. Not forgetting the Master cabin, This has one of the best panoramic ocean view any liveaboards can offer Deep Andaman Queen has now Colti Sub Nitrox membrane on board - unlimited Nitrox is available for every diver. Yacht has one of the largest dive platforms in the South East Asia; this is the pride and joy of our boat. It consists of a very wide and spacious kitting-up area on two levels, a separate entry/exit platform, 2 exit ladders with 2 fresh water showers to rinse yourself or your equipment after diving. There is also 2 large buckets with fresh water for rinsing cameras, dive computers and torches

November trip on Similan Islands
First of all, the guide-to-diver ratio was excellent. We always had a maximum of four divers per guide, which made the dives feel relaxed, and well-managed. The boat crew also deserves special mention—they were incredibly attentive and always ready to help with anything the guests needed. Their enthusiasm and hospitality really added to the trip. Unfortunately, there were some downsides, especially regarding the cabin conditions. We booked a main-deck cabin specifically to stay as far away from the engine room noise as possible. However, the cabin assigned to us was located directly above the generator, which ran 24/7 and produced a lot of noise. The room was very loud, making it difficult to rest comfortably. Additionally, the cabin interior showed clear signs of wear and moisture damage. Several of the cabinet doors were rusty, and a few even fell off because the wood was humid and the hinges were completely corroded. The bathroom sink also didn’t drain properly, which made the bathroom less pleasant to use. Regarding the diving organization, the chief dive guide explained the dive site during the briefings, but there wasn’t a clear dive plan provided. On top of that, the other dive guides were not always present for the briefings, so once we were in the water, we often started the dive without a real plan that everyone shared. While this didn’t cause any major problems for me personally, it would definitely feel safer and more coordinated if all guides attended the briefings and followed one unified dive plan.

Do it!
The Deep Andaman Queen was the best of diving the Similan and Surin islands. Their infrastructure gives you the best possible dive experience. The only challenge I had was getting on and off the Liveaboard on the dives. It challenged me in every aspect with different scenarios at every sites. The crew was very accommodating and will pair you with your experience level. The staff was nice and the instructors are very thorough on their teaching capabilities. I have over 1000+ dives as a recreational master diver and dove in 7 different seas and I’m impressed with their instructors. So, if you thinking of doing an Advanced course, do it with them. You get the maximum dives and experience what you learn with the instructor and they will make sure you understand the skills. The food was good and plentiful. My favorite night was Hot Pot and Korean BBQ night. My favorite dive sites: The Dome, Richelieu Rock and Woosung Wreck. The best part of diving with Deep Andaman Queen is that there are 3 land expeditions. One is a sunset cruise around Similan island and 2 beach hikes with one that has a spectacular views.

Quick response in an emergency
I was satisfied with the food, kindness of the staff, safety, guide and cruise facilities. However, after the evening of the last day, there was a problem with Cruise's electrical facilities, so it was a little regrettable that the diving on the last day was done as two diving, not three diving, off Khao Lak by another daytrip diving boat. I might not have been able to dive, but it was fortunate that I did it twice with a quick response.
