30 years of expertise in safe, flexible diving across Indonesian waters
Dedicated camera room with individual space for every guest’s equipment
Small groups, 4:1 guest-to-guide ratio

Pindito guarantees a unique and safe adventure for diving and non-diving guests across the spectacular destinations of Indonesia. This popular vessel is known for its flexibility and dedication to safety, with customized schedules, including dives that can be scheduled according to weather conditions and group preferences. With consideration for independent exploration or perhaps just surfacing apart from the group, each dive group will be joined by a local speedboat driver to provide the safest and quickest surface location.

The vessel takes both divers and non-divers in comfort and considers specific sites for each group's desires. Exploration dives at less frequently visited sites are sometimes offered by the crew and provide a unique chance to see Indonesia's underwater jewels in total isolation, where this is accepted by the guests. Whale-watching trips in Raja Ampat and the Banda Sea can also be arranged-a very unique experience with this liveaboard.

Guests can relax and chat in quiet, over-engineered spaces conducive to a peaceful passage. The camera room is extremely well-appointed with volume space for each guest's equipment, easily catering to underwater photographers. Food and beverages are fully catered for on the boat, including spirits and beer; wine is excluded. Special diets can be catered for if pre-notified, allowing all guests to enjoy their dining and drinking with ease.

The team is made up of 21 well-versed members, which assures a high crew-to-guest ratio, allowing the crew to be very attentive and making for an enjoyable experience in safety. For added safety, surface marker buoys are available in case guests may need them.

It would be offering routes that take in Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea, and other prime Indonesian dive sites, housing some of the most varied underwater landscapes on the planet. Encounters include mantas in shoals, pygmy seahorses, and various shark species-a huge assortment of fish types. The underwater features vary from coral-covered vertical walls and deep-water trenches to one-of-a-kind submerged volcanic sites, with endless discoveries made by divers tailored to optimal diving conditions

Best in class: The Gold Standard of Liveaboards
This was my second liveaboard experience with Pindito somehow raised the bar even higher. From start to finish, the operation runs with a level of professionalism, warmth, and flexibility that’s honestly hard to beat. Ega, our cruise director, deserves special recognition for his leadership, attention to detail, and calm command of every moving part made the entire trip seamless. The diving itself was exceptional thanks to Racka and Gerard, who are outstanding dive guides. Their focus on safety and their knowledge of the dive sites made every dive memorable. Huge thanks as well to Adrian who also brought a high degree of safety as our dingy driver. Then there’s the food… wow. The meals were consistently fantastic, and the service from Miko and Nanang and the cooking team was next-level. They somehow anticipated what you wanted before you even asked, and when last-second or ad-hoc requests came up (cough… random guest requested smoothies), they made it happen quickly and with a smile. Between dives, the boat itself is a joy to be on. The main dining area and upper deck are perfectly designed for relaxing: chairs, cushions, and chill spaces where you can lounge, chat, or just soak in the view. The extra touches really set Pindito apart: paddle boards, kayaks, and the flexibility to adjust the schedule to optimize both weather conditions and guest preferences. That level of adaptability makes a huge difference and shows how guest-focused the operation truly is. For the overall experience, Pindito simply cannot be beat. They set the standard back in 1992 as the first liveaboard in Asia, and it’s clear that everyone else has been trying to catch up ever since. An iconic boat, an exceptional crew, and an unforgettable experience; I can’t wait to come back.
