Pulau Tifore is a remote North Maluku site famous for schooling barracuda and blue-water reef action. It has a strong pelagic, open-ocean character.
What to see
Large schools of barracuda may be seen, along with jacks, reef sharks, tuna, turtles, rays, and coral reef life.
When To Go Diving
Best during calm-sea transition months, often March–April and September–November. Water is generally around 27–30°C.
