All about Koon dive site
Koon, in eastern Indonesia, is known as a fish-rich reef area with strong current and exceptional schooling life. It has a wild, blue-water character suited to experienced divers.
What to see
Schooling snappers, jacks, barracuda, reef sharks, groupers, sea fans, soft corals, reef fish, and pelagic visitors may be seen.
When To Go Diving
The Banda Sea and eastern Indonesia routes are often best from September to November and March to April, depending on itinerary. Water is generally around 26–29°C.
