The Dancing Wind is a 47-meter traditional Phinisi constructed to offer unforgettable diving tours around Indonesia's best marine destinations. It can welcome 20 guests aboard in eight tastefully designed cabins, including two double cabins and six twin cabins-four of them with the possibility of accommodating one more guest. Each cabin is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, hot showers, individually controlled air-conditioning, and panoramic windows framing breathtaking sea views.

The social spaces aboard the yacht allow plenty of room for relaxation and interaction. The salon itself is spacious and features a TV with home cinema surround sound; a perfect spot to while away some relaxing time after a dive. Three spacious lounge decks round out the ambiance, ideal for ocean viewing or star gazing. A large dining area serves a menu featuring Indonesian, European, and Japanese cuisine. Guests are treated to five freshly prepared meals daily, and beverages such as soft drinks, tea, coffee, and beer are included on non-discounted trips.

Divers are catered for by a large dive deck with plentiful storage and individual lockers. There's even a camera room for underwater photographers, complete with maintenance areas and charging points. Nitrox is available on board, as well as technical diving, making for safe, exhilarating dives. Four dives a day are possible, including night dives. Your experienced guides lead the dives at a very low 4:1 diver-to-guide ratio to ensure personal attention.

The itineraries cover Indonesia's renowned dive destinations: Raja Ampat, known for its rich coral reefs with a variety of marine life; Halmahera for its unique macro life; and other routes that offer the Banda Sea and Sulawesi with varied underwater landscapes featuring pelagic species and coral gardens. Emphasizing sustainability, each trip fosters environmental awareness and preservation of these pristine marine environments.

Great boat and very attentive crew
The boat is comfortable and as it appears in the photos provided. There is Starlink Wifi available which offers good internet most of the time. The crew is very attentive and they try to go above and beyond to meet your expectations. The divemasters will try to to find the best spots for you to dive and even travel orernight in order to get you to a better dive site. Highly recommended!

Day 1:
Embarking on your Scuba Liveaboard.
Sorong - Waisai Arrive by 12 pm cruising to Waisai Activities around Saonek Achoring at Waisai On Day 1, after arriving in Sorong and cruising to Waisai, you can engage in various activities around Saonek. These activities may include snorkeling, kayaking, or exploring the beautiful beaches. Once you have finished your day's adventures, the Dancing Wind Liveaboard will anchor at Waisai for the night.

Day 2:
You will have the opportunity to snorkel and scuba dive around the stunning Dampier Strait. This area is known for its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. One popular spot to visit is Cape Kri, where you can witness an abundance of colorful fish and coral formations. Additionally, you can also take a trip to Sawandarek Village to experience the local culture and traditions. After a day filled with underwater exploration, the Dancing Wind Liveaboard will continue cruising. This region is the best chance to spot tasseled Wobbegong sharks.

Day 3:
Visit beaches - Cruise to one of the most iconic sites of Cape Kri, followed by Sawandarek Island, famous for its breathtaking jetty with a huge amount of life under it, with yellowtail barracuda, turtles, sweetlips, and jacks. Then head to either Manta Ridge or Manta Sandy to experience an exhilarating encounter with mantas - often having to hook on to a single spot and just watch the action around you. This may be followed by a sunset dive at Arborek Jetty before dinner.  As you continue your journey, the Dancing Wind Liveaboard will take you towards the north renowned for its remote location and pearl farms on the way.....

Day 4:
Weather permitting, we keep heading north and dive into iconic sites like White Arrow, and Tear drop corner around the Aljui area. Here the topography changes from slope dives to wall and often drift dives with stunning soft corals, gorgonian fans, and a wide variety of nudibranchs, eels, and often a passing ray or turtle. A night dive under the jetty here is one of the highlights of this area. If the weather turns foul, we do more iconic sites here and take shelter in the bays - and then continue northwards overnight.

Day 5:
You will immerse yourself and scuba dive around Wayag - Eagle Rock and Black Rock, where you can witness the breathtaking underwater world filled with colorful coral reefs and diverse marine life including sharks, schools of jacks, and many others. this day we have reduced the number of dives as we may embark on a trek up Mount Pindito to catch a glimpse of the stunning panoramic views that Wayag has to offer. Finally, you will conclude your day with a relaxing cruise to Fam Island, known for its enchanting shark lagoon where you can observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Optionally, we meander through the narrow waterways and we go to a secluded lagoon for a sundowner and a bonfire to add to the mood. After dinner, we start our journey back towards the central area.

Day 6:
This morning (weather permitting) we go up Piaynemo for a leisurely walk upstairs and get group pictures at the top with stunning views of the bay. Today's highlight will be Melissa's garden - and you will be amazed by the amount of schooling fish and the huge expanses of corals that stretch to the horizon. Two more dives in the sites surrounding the area - including MY reef and then we begin our long journey to South Raja Ampat - i.e. Misool area

Day 7:
Depending on the weather we start our dives at Balbulol / Daram, where we choose the best dive sites around us as we communicate with Misool to get our slots to dive in the iconic spots the next day. This has to be done before sundown and we may do a night dive tonight

Day 8:
Fiabacet- have the opportunity to explore the underwater wonders of Fiabacet These sites are known for their diverse marine life and stunning coral formations. sites such as Boo Window, Romeo, and Whale Rock await us - all subject to getting a slot to dive there as each boat is allocated specific time slots by a central authority. After your underwater adventures, you will have the chance to visit Love Lake, a serene oasis surrounded by lush vegetation. You will then spend the night at Wayil Batan, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful destination.

Day 9:
Wayil Batan Tour Lagoon Snorkeling and diving around Wayil Batan Cruise to Daram Island, where you can explore its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters, Here, you can also witness the vibrant marine life and colorful coral reefs that make this area a popular diving spot. Dives today could include, Boo East, and Eagle West. After a day of exploration, you will return to Wayil Batan for another peaceful evening surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Day 10:
Today, its decision-making time depends on the uest's choice and flying time. You may opt to explore the enchanting Tomolol Caves while snorkeling in its surrounding waters. Afterward, you have the chance to visit the famous Jellyfish Lake in Balbulol, where you can swim among these mesmerizing and harmless creatures. If diving is more important, and you have a late flight, we are flexible to drop the land excursions and do dives around sites like Andiamo. After diving your crew does all the necessary cleaning of your equipment and putting it out to dry. As your cruise continues to Sorong, you can reflect on the unforgettable experiences and memories made during your time in Wayil Batan and Daram.

Day 11:
You will check out of your accommodation in Sorong and bid farewell to Raja Ampat. As you leave, take a moment to appreciate the unique marine life and pristine beaches you had the privilege to explore during your snorkeling and scuba diving adventures.

Day 1:
Check-In.
Arriving at not more than 12 pm cruising to Waisai activities around Saonek Achoring at Waisai On Day 1, after arriving in Sorong and cruising to Waisai, you can engage in various activities around Saonek. These activities may include snorkeling, kayaking, or exploring the beautiful beaches. Once you have finished your day's adventures, Dancing Wind will anchor at Waisai for the night.

Day 2:
Dampier Strait.
The adventure begins in Dampier Strait, known for its vibrant reefs and abundant marine life. Dive among schools of barracudas, jacks, trevallies, mantas, and reef sharks in these nutrient-rich waters.

Day 3:
Cape Kri - Mansuar - Manta Sandy.
Dive the renowned sites of Cape Kri, Mansuar, and Manta Sandy. Cape Kri holds a record for the most fish species counted in one dive, while Mansuar’s coral gardens and Manta Sandy’s majestic mantas offer unforgettable underwater experiences.

Day 4:
Aljui Bay.
Aljui Bay is perfect for macro lovers, with pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, and wobbegong sharks among its diverse inhabitants. Enjoy its calm waters and vibrant marine life.

Day 5:
Wayag - Trekking.
After a morning dive, head to the stunning Wayag Islands. Trek to the top for breathtaking panoramic views of the limestone karsts and turquoise waters—a highlight of the journey.

Day 6:
Pyanemo - 2 dives + Sunrise Trek.
Start with an early morning trek at Pyanemo, where you’ll enjoy spectacular views at sunrise. Then, explore its vibrant coral reefs with two dives in this pristine location.

Day 7:
Tomolol Cave + 1-2 dives.
Today, visit Jellyfish Lake and explore Tomolol Cave. Marvel at its massive chambers and natural formations before enjoying 1-2 dives in the surrounding waters.

Day 8:
Fiabacet.
Dive the spectacular underwater landscapes of Fiabacet, with its dramatic coral slopes and diverse marine life. The reefs here are rich and vibrant, offering unforgettable experiences.

Day 9:
Daram.
Dive the rich coral reefs of Daram, where schools of fish, reef sharks, and vibrant marine life fill the waters. This site is a diver’s paradise.

Day 10:
Daram (continued).
Spend another day exploring Daram’s beautiful dive sites, soaking in the vibrant underwater world as the trip begins to wind down.

Day 11:
Check-out.
