Duyungbaru is an affordable luxury liveaboard that offers diving near the Komodo Island.
Boat interior
Duyungbaru liveaboard can accommodate 6 passengers. There are 3 cabins on the board. Two of the has double beds, third stateroom equipped with twin beds and can be shared. all cabins have private bathrooms and air conditioning. In between diving or evening time passengers of Duyungbaru can spend in the comfortable boat salon. You can also enjoy the gorgeous view of green islands and blue water on the upper deck of the boat under sails. One of the areas where boat’s crew pays special effort is delicious food. Yani boat’s chef provides guests with authentic Indonesian, Japanese and Western cuisine.
Dive deck
Duyungbaru liveaboard has a comfortable area for preparation for the dive. There is a hanging area for wetsuits. The boat provides divers with 12and 15 l tanks. Divers with EANx certification can use nitrox on board. Please pay attention that it must be requested prior to arrival.
Safety
There is all necessary safety equipment on board, including life vests, first aid kit.
Itinerary
Boat’s owner spent several years in Indonesia before they purchased Duyungbaru liveaboard. After 3 years of sailing the archipelago, they chose Komodo as the place that inspired them the most. Diving itineraries include all the most engaging dive sites of Komodo National Park. This diving destination is truly unique. Only a few places in the world, where so much underwater creatures can be met. White tip and gray reef sharks, snappers, surgeonfish, giant trevally, and fusiliers are common for this area. Komodo is great for macro diving. Island’s coral reefs are home for tiny pygmy seahorses and colorful nudibranchs. Also, Komodo’s underwater landscapes feature with a great variety. You can dive along the walls and pinnacles, explore colorful reefs.
When to Go
Komodo Island is a year round destination. Best time to visit it’s dive sites is from April and August when the dry season begins. From November to March water can be cooler, but visibility is better. Duyungbaru liveaboard is the best choice for those divers who want to spend their vacation in a friendly atmosphere, enjoy good diving and delicious food

- 100% will be required in 65 days prior to the embarkation date
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees
- If you cancel after the booking is secured with a payment the cancellation fee of 20% will be charged
- 40% will be charged if cancelled in 63 days before the embarkation date
- 50% will be charged if cancelled in 33 days before the embarkation date
- 80% will be charged if cancelled in 14 days before the embarkation date
- 100% will be charged if cancelled in 10 days before the embarkation date
