Itineraries
The Liveaboard offers itineraries that include all the iconic diving destinations in Indonesia, such as Komodo, Raja Ampat, Banda Sea, Alor, and Ambon. Each destination showcases unique underwater wonders and provides incredible diving experiences. Komodo National Park is renowned for its diverse marine life. In North Komodo, you can dive among large schools of fish surrounded by colorful sea fans and soft corals. In South Komodo, you'll have the opportunity to encounter majestic white and black mantas. Additionally, Komodo is famous for its black sand diving sites, where macro enthusiasts can discover a plethora of fascinating critters. Raja Ampat, particularly Misool Island, is a paradise for divers. Located in the heart of the Coral Triangle, it boasts an extraordinary biodiversity. With over 1,400 fish species and 75% of the world's coral species, Raja Ampat is considered one of the richest marine environments on the planet. Here, you can witness massive schools of fish, graceful oceanic manta rays, hawksbill sea turtles, unique Wobbegong sharks, intriguing Walking sharks, enchanting pygmy seahorses, and a wide variety of colorful nudibranchs. Banda is renowned for its excellent muck diving opportunities, while Ambon is a world-class destination for macro photography enthusiasts. These locations offer a plethora of fascinating macro life waiting to be discovered and photographed. The remote and isolated Alor Islands stretch across one thousand miles of ocean, bordered by the Indian Ocean to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south. Diving in Alor provides good visibility and the chance to encounter a diverse range of marine animals, including large pelagic species, reef fish, and the captivating macro life that thrives in this biodiverse region. Whether you're seeking vibrant reefs, captivating marine biodiversity, or exceptional macro encounters, the Liveaboard's itineraries will take you on a thrilling journey through Indonesia's most iconic diving destinations.

When to go
For Komodo National Park, the ideal diving season is from May to September, offering calm conditions and good visibility. This period allows for diving with schools of fish, encountering mantas, and exploring the fascinating macro life. Raja Ampat, particularly Misool Island, is best visited from November to April. During this time, you can expect calm weather, clear waters, and incredible biodiversity. Dive among massive fish schools and encounter oceanic manta rays, turtles, sharks, pygmy seahorses, and vibrant nudibranchs. Banda Sea provides excellent muck diving opportunities and can be enjoyed from October to April when conditions are favorable. Ambon is a year-round diving destination, with the dry season (October to April) being recommended for good visibility and world-class macro life. Alor is another year-round diving destination. The dry season from April to December generally offers improved weather and visibility, but diving can be enjoyed throughout the year

Feedback on Velocean
The dive experience itself was not up to expectation in terms of marine life found. The ship, the crew, the cabins, the F &B were first class. The former brings down the overall trip experience very considerably
