Aurora liveaboard combines the old charm of traditional Indonesian liveaboard with modern facilities - a spacious sundeck with numerous sun loungers. Various itineraries include all the most exciting diving destinations of Indonesia Raja Ampat, Banda Sea, and Komodo Island. The unique photo zone is equipped on board with a camera table with a charging station.
Boat Interior
The boat can welcome up to 18 passengers on board. 9 modern cabins equipped with private showers and air conditioning. All staterooms have a vibe of a traditional Indonesian style. A spacious salon combines leisure and a dining area. There is also a sun deck with comfortable sun loungers.
Safety
Aurora crew is equipped with all necessary safety gear. The boat’s crew pays attention to the diver’s certification level. It must meet safety requirements.
Diving
All dives will be made from dive tenders. Boffersffer nitrox for fivers with EANx certification. Tanks are equipped with yoke valves and there are also DIN adaptors on board.
Itinerary features
Aurora can offer a range of itineraries for Indonesia diving. Banda Sea, Alor, Raja Ampat, Komodo are scheduled. The boat also offers trips with a different duration. Stay at the Komodo archipelago for 7 days or explore more during the 11 night trip. Komodo is known for a variety of underwater landscapes and you have an excellent opportunity to discover all the best dive spots and enjoy this variety. Raja Ampat liveaboard diving is another amazing itinerary that is on the bucket list of many divers. You will not find such a great amount of underwater creatures anywhere else. Lots of big pelagics can be seen while diving in the Banda Sea.
When to Go
The is a high season for each itinerary. Aurora offers to dive at Komodo from May to September. Rich nutrient waters attract more fish at this time of the year. From November to April boat stays at Raja Ampat. And again blooming plankton brings more fish and mantas during these months. But the visibility can be not on the highest level. The water temperature is about 30C (86F). For the Banda Sea, the average water temperature ranges from 26C (78F) to 29C (84F). Aurora goes to the Alor in August and September when surface conditions are more settled
