Stay at the Komodo archipelago for 7 days or explore more during the 11 night trip. Komodo is known for a variety of underwater landscapes and you have an excellent opportunity to discover all the best dive spots and enjoy this variety. Raja Ampat liveaboard diving is another amazing itinerary that is on the bucket list of many divers. You will not find such a great amount of underwater creatures anywhere else. Lots of big pelagics can be seen while diving in the Banda Sea.
When to Go
The is a high season for each itinerary. Aurora offers to dive at Komodo from May to September. Rich nutrient waters attract more fish at this time of the year. From November to April boat stays at Raja Ampat. And again blooming plankton brings more fish and mantas during these months. But the visibility can be not on the highest level. The water temperature is about 30C (86F). For the Banda Sea, the average water temperature ranges from 26C (78F) to 29C (84F). Aurora goes to the Alor in August and September when surface conditions are more settled
