Pulau Komba is an active volcanic island in the Flores Sea, giving dives a dramatic above-water and underwater setting. Reefs here feel rugged and remote.
What to see
Volcanic slopes, reef fish, soft corals, turtles, rays, jacks, fusiliers, and occasional reef sharks may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best on East Flores and Alor routes, often April to November. Water is generally around 25–29°C.
