Choose from 3 and 4-night liveaboard dive trips to Komodo Indonesia, which can be seamlessly combined with resort accommodations for a well-rounded scuba travel experience.

Boat interior and exterior

The vessel features three cabins designed to accommodate 10 passengers: 2 double cabins and 1 dormitory-style stateroom with 6 bunk beds, all equipped with air conditioning and wall fans. Showers and toilets are shared, but the small capacity of the yacht ensures a comfortable experience. It offers plenty of relaxation areas, including an open sun deck with a huge mattress for lounging and watching the sea, and an open-air dining room with a 270-degree view for enjoying meals with a scenic backdrop.

Diving

The dive guides are highly experienced and knowledgeable about the best dive spots in Komodo. Up to 3 dives are offered daily, with 36 spare aluminum tanks (12 Lt, Yoke or DIN) provided. Diving and snorkeling equipment is available free of charge, making it easy for guests to enjoy the underwater ecosystems. These liveaboard diving trips offer an immersive experience with beautiful sea creatures, vibrant coral reefs, and diverse marine biodiversity. The boat also features special facilities for marine photography, including charging points and separate rinsing tanks for camera gear.

Safety and navigation

The boat is equipped with all necessary safety equipment, including a VHF Radio, fire extinguishers, life jackets, oxygen, a first aid kit, and a life raft. The crew is well-trained to handle emergency situations, ensuring a secure and safe scuba diving experience.

Diving features

Sokaraja focuses on short scuba liveaboard vacations to Komodo. These 3 or 4-night trips can be perfectly combined with a resort stay, allowing guests to experience both daily and liveaboard diving in one of the most extraordinary diving destinations in the world. Komodo offers a variety of underwater landscapes, including seamounts, pinnacles, caves, and walls. Divers can encounter reef sharks, rare sea creatures like wobbegongs, and enjoy amazing macro diving opportunities. The dive site maps provided onboard help divers plan their underwater adventures effectively.

When to go

You can dive in Komodo all year round. The timeframe between April and August is considered the high season, although July and August can have rough seas. This period offers the best diving conditions, allowing you to explore the rich marine life and stunning underwater scenery of the region. With optimal scuba diving weather conditions, your dive travel will be filled with unforgettable marine life encounters and diverse underwater ecosystems
