All about Mawan dive site
Mawan, in Komodo, is known as a manta cleaning and passing site when conditions align. It has a gentler reef profile than some of Komodo’s stronger current sites.
What to see
Manta rays may be seen, along with turtles, reef fish, rays, hard corals, soft corals, and schooling fish.
When To Go Diving
April to November is usually best, though manta activity varies with current and plankton. Water is generally around 25–29°C.
