The Blue Lotus liveaboard is a traditionally built Indonesian Phinisi designed specifically for diving around Komodo National Park. Cabins

Master Cabin

The master cabin features a king-sized double bed and access to a private balcony with direct sea views. This stateroom includes an en-suite bathroom with hot water shower, air conditioning, and practical amenities such as cabin towels and secure storage.

Standard Twin

Two twin cabins are located on the lower deck, each with two single beds, air conditioning, and a private bathroom. These are suitable for single travellers or friends sharing accommodation.

Standard Double

Two additional cabins offer one double bed paired with a single, accommodating couples or small groups. These staterooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, housekeeping service, and windows for natural light.

Boat Interior

Common areas include an air-conditioned indoor lounge equipped with TV, board games, and reading materials. An open-air lounge and partially shaded sun deck feature bean bags, deckchairs, and sunbeds. Indoor and outdoor dining areas offer options for al fresco meals or shaded comfort.

Dive Deck

The dive platform is spacious and well organized with personal gear storage, rinse tanks, and a freshwater shower. Nitrox is available for certified divers. Two tenders support dive operations across Komodo’s complex reef systems. The dive ratio is kept to 4:1 for personalized guidance. Camera facilities include a camera table, charging stations, and dedicated rinse tanks for underwater equipment.

Safety

Safety equipment onboard the Blue Lotus liveaboard Indonesia includes radar, GPS tracking, VHF/DSC/SSB radio, emergency oxygen, AED, life vests, fire extinguishers, emergency flares, bilge pump alarm, first aid kits, and life rafts. Smoke detectors and a distress signal system (E.P.I.R.B.) are also installed. Crew is trained to respond to diving or onboard emergencies.

Itinerary

The MV Blue Lotus liveaboard follows itineraries through Indonesia’s Komodo National Park, including sites like Manta Alley, Batu Bolong, and Castle Rock. These locations feature currents, pelagic encounters, macro life, and coral-rich walls. Land excursions may include snorkeling, trekking to see Komodo dragons, and leisure time on Pink Beach. The cruise is suitable for both divers and non-diver companions. Daily dives are conducted with briefings and surface intervals planned for comfort and optimal timing.

Food & Drinks

Meals are buffet-style, offering both local and Western dishes including seafood and vegetables. Snacks are provided throughout the day. Coffee, tea, and various soft drinks are available, along with alcoholic beverages. A shared galley supports food preparation with a stove, sink, dishwasher, and refrigerator.
