Special designed boat for diving cruises. She is large and spacious and has 46 meters in length and 10 meters in width. A high crew and guest ratio with 20 crew members in total guarantees personal care and a great level of service. The yacht is superb for marine photographers. A crew can arrange dives in small groups, 4 photographers, to 1 dive guide.

Boat interior and exterior
The yacht accommodated up to 24 guests on board in 14 spacious cabins. Share the cabin with another diver or book a double bed stateroom, there are even cabins with transformable beds, that can suit either twin share or double occupancy, and also great if you travel with family. All rooms on board are ensuite and have air conditioning. They are also big in size 20 square meters. Guests can stay at the outdoor lounge area and enjoy the warm sea breeze or stay in the boat's salon.

Diving
There are 3 compressors and a nitrox system on board, 4 dinghies to take you to the remote dive spots.

Safety and navigation
The boat is equipped with life jackets in all cabins, a first aid kit, emergency oxygen, firefighting equipment, a satellite phone, and night watch security.

Photo Pro
This liveaboard is great for marine photographers. She has a big camera table, a dry room, blow-dry station. Also, diving can be arranged in small groups of 4 photographers to 1 dive guide.

When to Go
A diving season for Layang Layang is very short. It lasts only from April to June. Water temperatures fluctuate from 28C(82F) to 32C (89F). Visibility usually ranges from 10 to 40m

A fantastic week thanks to a fantastic crew
I had a fabulous time on the White Manta - honestly couldn't have loved the boat and our crew more! While the boat is not the most modern, it was so comfortable - even our cabin below deck was spacious and cozy with plenty of hot water to go around, and good aircon. There was also a lot of space for clothes and drying and so many power outlets for charging - even in addition to the dedicated camera room. The food was incredible and I am a bit of a food snob. Loved the snacks, dinner was served as a menu, there was always plenty to go around, and everything was fresh and delicious. The crew was the absolute best. Everyone seemed to be doing everything and everyone was so incredibly helpful and kind. As a female diver and solo traveler, I appreciated our female cruise director Lea who was amazing and seems to love her job and her team which reflects well on Manta management. Our guide Indra came on as a freelancer as someone got sick but we were so happy that he did - he was kind, helpful and overall a great guide. One point of contention worth mentioning: Nitrox is pretty much mandatory and I would have appreciated knowing that before (for budgeting) or even include it in the price. Makes complete sense to use it but would be good to include beforehand. But overall, a wonderful trip and I would love to explore more with the White Manta!

a perfect liveaboard experience
Extremely nice ship, well maintained and a very professional crew. Equipment is very well maintained and the stuff is very helpful. Organization of all the dives was absoolutely top notch. The cabins and all areas of the ship were spotless clean. The food options were exceptional. The dives were perfectly organized. We had one issue with the stairs down to the dive deck being too slippery but the crew took care of it right away. This was my absolute perfect liveaboard experience - special thanks go out to Nacho - our tour director and dive instructor! Great job!

Fantastic diving with White Manta
I enjoyed the New White Manta Misool to Triton Bay trip. The steel boat is spacious, comfortable with large user-friendly cabins. The diving is world class, spectacular soft and hard corals, dolphins, mantas and whale sharks. I really enjoyed the authentic Asian cuisine on board.
