Batu Mandi on Bangka Island is a rocky reef site shaped by boulders, soft corals, and current-fed fish life. It has the rich, colourful character typical of Bangka’s reefs.
What to see
Soft corals, sea fans, reef fish, fusiliers, turtles, nudibranchs, shrimps, moray eels, and occasional reef sharks may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Bangka is usually good for much of the year, with March to November often preferred. Water is generally around 27–29°C, with visibility often 15–30 metres.
