The SY Palau Siren is an ironwood top-class modern motor-sailing yacht that combines the latest technologies with experience. This leading liveaboard was created by a team of yacht builders in Indonesia and provides the opportunity to visit astonishing dive sites in Palau, with everything you need to feel comfortable during your liveaboard holiday. The Palau Siren is reliable and can meet the requirements of demanding divers.

Boat Interior

The Palau Siren liveaboard can accommodate 16 vacationers on board in 8 spacious air-conditioned staterooms. Each cabin is equipped with an entertainment system and individual facilities with hot water, as well as air conditioning controls and lights over the bed for reading. All the rooms on the Palau Siren liveaboard have closets, a safety box, and a hair dryer. In between dives and after dives, the passengers of the Palau Siren liveaboard can spend time in an air-conditioned lounge with a bar and comfortable couches. Here they will find a 107-cm/42-in flat-screen TV with a number of movies and a small library. The boat also has a shaded, open-air dining space where meals are served. Use the comfortable sun deck on top of the boat to enjoy a marvelous view of Palau.

Dive Deck

The Palau Siren dive deck has plenty of lockers. The boat also features Aqua Lung scuba gear, you can rent BCDs, regulators, 3-mm wetsuits, masks, and fins.

Safety

The liveaboard crew members care about your safety. The Palau Siren ensures safety by having life jackets, smoke alarms, emergency long distance radios, satellite phones, and EPIRBs. The yacht team has been trained to manage emergency procedures. Medical boxes are available on board. Upon boarding, all boat passengers can try out life jackets and will receive an explanation of emergency procedures.

Services

The Palau Siren liveaboard provides laundry and massage services to guests. Passengers can also buy souvenirs such as clothing, as well as equipment items like reef hooks and pointers.

Facilities for Underwater Photographers

The Palau Siren has special spaces for underwater photography enthusiasts. Here you can maintain your photo and video gear, recharge it, and prepare for the next dive. The boat has big storage drawers and numerous charging points. There are also rinse tanks that can only be used for cameras. To improve their photography skills, divers can take part in a Palau Siren master class with a famous underwater photographer.

Diving in Small Groups

Because the Palau Siren has 2 dive tenders and 3 instructors, divers can be divided based on their certification levels and dive in small groups.

Advanced Divers

If you do not have enough experience to dive in currents, caves, or other difficult dive sites, the dive crew on the Palau Siren will help you find attractive dive sites to suit your certification level. Diving with pelagic fish in Palau can be interesting for advanced divers.

Itineraries

Dive at the best destinations if Palau on the Palau Siren. Discover the well-known German Channel, which is the place to see manta rays at cleaning stations, and dive or swim with them in the shallow waters. Another famous dive spot in Palau is Blue Hole (Blue Corner). Here divers can see schools of gray reef sharks and whitetip sharks. Along the vertical walls, you can see gorgonian fans, soft corals, hard corals, eels, anemones, and barracudas. You can choose a 7-night trip, or a 10-night trip if you would like to visit all the must-see dives sites in Palau. You can also snorkel in Palau. One of the recognized dive sites in Palau is Jellyfish Lake, where millions of golden jellyfish bask in the sun that filters through the warm salt waters of the lake. Only snorkeling is allowed here, because scuba diving can disturb the ecosystem at this extraordinary dive spot.

When to Go

The ideal time to visit Palau is from November to April. At the end of winter and the beginning of spring, there is a strong possibility of seeing gray reef sharks. If you want to dive with mantas, it’s better to choose December for your trip. Regardless of when you choose, liveaboard holidays on the Palau Siren always provide you with a fine dive experience in Palau.

So all you need is to choose a trip and book your dives. You can have a truly unforgettable dive holiday on the Palau Siren. And if you have already been to many diving destinations, I’m sure you’ll find something new and exciting during your trip on this liveaboard

      Palau Siren Liveaboard

      brilliant holiday

We had a wonderful time on Palau siren. For 10 days we were looked after very well by the helpful and friendly team working on the boat. Having had holidays on other liveaboard boats I was struck by HOW well the team work together genuinely no job was too small for any of them with everyone helping out everywhere to make our trip as perfect as possible and going out their way to make us and each other smile. (For example being welcomed back on the boat each time by captain Jack and having my socks washed by the cruise director! ) I would struggle to think of ways our experience could have been improved, however one of my travel companions felt the toilet roll holders could be easier to use and i agree sometimes it was difficult to get more than sheet at a time. The diving was exceptional. Diving with the guides took any stress away, everything seemed so laid back. Following Chris I went to places I would not have expected to calmly go - inside rooms in wrecks and inside caves and loved it! When diving with hooks in current I had no worries with Inal directing me. Jordan made everyone laugh above and under water all the time and was extra patient giving me time to get to depth with sore ears. During the trip we saw pretty anemones, loads of wonderful fish, an octopus, turtles, a sea snack in the sea, eagle rays and a manta and lots and lots of sharks! Oh and our guide pointed out a white tropical long tailed bird in the sky.
