Aquatiki II catamaran that offers diving at French Polynesia already for 15 years.

Boat interior

Onboard services are worthy of a small hotel. There are 4 cabins on board. 2 double room suits for honeymoon trips. They equipped with private bathroom with hot water, air conditioning and radio with an i-pod plug. One twin room can be shared with another diver with the same facilities. There is also a VIP cabin with a double bed that has in addition TV and DVD.
On the top deck of Aquatiki boat’s guests can enjoy the view. There is a big dining table, where all meals are served and two highly-coveted trampolines at the bow.

Dive deck

The liveabard was designed especially for divers. There are all necessary facilities to make diving easy and comfortable. Highly experienced dive instructors can provide CMAS and FFESSM courses for passengers. There is an opportunity to rent diving gear on board. Divers with EANx certification can use nitrox.

Safety

There is all necessary safety equipment on board of Aquatiki liveaboard: first aid kit, life vests, and fire fighting equipment. Non-diver on board
Although this boat was made for divers, there are also plenty facilities for their fellow travelers. Non-divers on board can explore the lagoons with two kayaks, practice in water skiing and wakeboarding. During the trip, Aquatiki’ passengers can also visit Polynesian villages.

Itineraries

Diving itineraries include visiting of Tuamotu dive sites. Its sheltered lagoons are home for lots of different underwater creatures. Schools of sharks can be met including gray reef sharks, white tips, black tips, sleepers, hammerheads, sometimes tiger sharks. Also divers can see barracudas, manta rays and napoleon wrasses. This is a true diver’s paradise. Tuamotu is a variety of underwater landscapes: stunning drop-offs, reefs, shallow lagoons, and passes. Diving destination of French Polynesia suites mostly for experienced divers. Drift dives are the most common for this area.

When to Go

Good visibility is typical for French Polynesia diving destination good visibility. Water temperature is about 25°C/76°F in winter and 30°C/86°F in summer. Climate is tropical, in between November and April it is warm and rainy, while May to October is cooler and drier

It was one of the most beautiful places I've ever
It was one of the most beautiful places I've ever dived for me. I saw sharks on every dive, along with so many fish, mantas, snails, parrotfish, and even some giant Napoleon wrasses swimming around in schools – it was fantastic. The coral was mainly hard with tiny soft corals dotted here and there. It's not for beginners because it's got current and a reasonable amount of sharks on site, but then again, maybe this will scare some people off. But otherwise, the staff were superb - all the dives were professionally
