Spoilsport offers 3, 4, or 7 nights trips to wonderful Australian diving destinations - The Great Barrier Reef and The Coral Sea. Dive with sharks or swim with minke whales, explore amazing coral reefs. The boat's design allows planning an "open deck" session - no restrictions on the bottom time. Excellent photo services are provided - a camera station, separate rinsing tanks, charging points, and a flat-screen. Divers can upgrade certification levels while onboard or gain new skills during the photo master classes.

Boat Interior
Spoilsport can accommodate 28 passengers. The total amount of cabins onboard is 14. There are budget cabins with shared bathrooms and bunk-style beds and club cabins with private showers and bunk-style beds. The other two types of staterooms are slightly bigger in size, they have big portholes and private facilities. Standard cabins are equipped with twin beds and can be shared, Premium Cabins have double beds.
The relaxation area of Spoilsport is nice and cozy. The salon has plenty of space and big soft couches. Divers can spend time here in between dives, watch TV, or use computers to watch and edit photos and videos. Sun deck of Spoilsport has two areas, an open sundeck, and a shaded area.

Dive Deck
Spoilsport's dive deck is large and has all the facilities to make your diving comfortable. There are lots of storage boxes for your gear. You can rent the equipment on board. Nitrox is available onboard for divers with EANx certification. There are also special facilities for underwater photographers. Computers and a place to work with cameras and separate rinsing tanks are available for use of Spoilsport guests.

Safety
For Spoilsport crew safety is extremely important. The vessel is equipped with emergency rafts, life vests, first aid kit. Team members are trained to manage emergency situations.

Itinerary
The itinerary of Spoilsport includes the greatest treasures of Australia. You will be diving on the world's famous reef system, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Coral Sea. It’s a spectacular topography, a world covered in sheer walls, and soft and hard corals. Join 2-3 shark attraction dives in our Coral Sea. Big fish action in 40-meter visibility. Dive with dozens of sharks, surrounded by spectacular reef sites. Labyrinths of caves & caverns and giant potato codes await you in the Great Barrier Reef. It is a prized region with excellent fish & coral biodiversity. Enjoy an hour or two exploring beautiful Lizard Island - white sand beaches and a short hike to Chinaman’s Ridge.

When to go
Any time is good for diving in Australia. Water temperatures vary between 24 and 28C. Warmer months are between November and April. Cooler temperatures are from May till October. The calmest sea conditions tend to be between September and February. Minke Whale Season is during June and July and offers an opportunity to snorkel with these precious animals while exploring the Great Barrier Reef. Crew members are highly experienced and know the most exciting dive sites of this diving destination

Ashmore Exploratory Trip
Spoilsport is a very good liveaboard. It is well maintained and run to a high standard. The food on this trip was fantastic. The crew friendly and helpful. The weather on this trip was variable, but the captain and crew managed to ensure that we were able to dive each day. The diving was typical for far north Australia.

Turtle Trip
Spoilsport is a comfortable boat. The food and facilities are excellent. The budget cabin is small but we managed to work together to avoid any hassles. The shared bathroom facilities did not present any problems. The rooms were kept clean as were the shared facilities. The diving operations are very well run. The dive briefings are good and the staff friendly and efficient. Safety is a key feature and treated seriously. The dive staff rate very highly in my estimation. The food and beverages are excellent. Coffee facilities are available as is a bar. The quality of the food is very good. The staff in this area also rate highly in my estimation. The diving was impacted by wind from the "wrong" direction. This dictated a change in the itinerary. The first few days of the trip had average diving. The turtles did not materialize during our dives on Raine reef. They were around but staying out. The last part of the trip made up for the poor start. We ventured out to largely pristine un-dived sites and experienced some great dives. My fellow guests were gregarious and made for a fun trip. Summary The Captain, crew and boat and services are good. The dive operations are well conducted. The weather impacted the itinerary due to safety concerns. That's diving.
