The Palau Siren is an ironwood top-class modern motor-sailing yacht. This boat is a superb choice for marine photographers. She provides workstations, separate storage boxes and rinsing tanks for cameras, charging points, with adapters. The yacht has up to three dive guides, so divers can be divided into smaller groups according to their level. Crew members are well-trained in emergency medical and evacuation procedures and they keep their skills up to date. The boat also offers massage services aboard. A massage therapist on board of Palau Siren works her magic for tired muscles after a day’s diving. Divers can choose trips with a different duration 6, 7 or 10 nights to explore some of the best of Palau -  German Channel and Ulong Channel. Add to this an opportunity to be a witness of one of the most amazing underwater events - spawning of the bumphead parrotfish and the red snapper that attracts lots of sharks

Boat interior and exterior

The Palau Siren can accommodate 16 vacationers on board in 8 spacious air-conditioned staterooms. Each cabin is supplied with an entertainment system and individual shower with hot water, as well as air conditioning controls and lights over the bed for reading. All the rooms on the Palau Siren have a safety box and a hairdryer. In between dives and after dives, the passengers of the Palau Siren can spend time in an air-conditioned lounge with a bar and comfortable couches. Here they will find a 107-cm/42-in flat-screen TV with a number of movies and a small library. The boat also has a shaded, open-air dining space. Use the comfortable sun deck on top of the boat to enjoy a marvelous view of Palau.

Diving

The Palau Siren dive deck has plenty of lockers for the gear. The boat also features Aqua Lung scuba gear, you can rent BCDs, regulators, 3-mm wetsuits, masks, and fins.

Safety and navigation

The Palau Siren ensures safety by having life jackets, smoke alarms, emergency long-distance radios, satellite phones, and EPIRBs. The yacht team has been trained to manage emergency procedures. Medical boxes are available on board. Upon boarding, all boat passengers can try out life jackets and will receive an explanation of emergency procedures.

Diving with pelagic fish in Palau can be interesting for advanced divers.

Itineraries
Dive at the most excellent destinations if Palau on the Palau Siren. Discover the well-known German Channel, which is the place to see manta rays at cleaning stations, and dive or swim with them in the shallow waters. Another famous dive spot in Palau is Blue Hole (Blue Corner). Here divers can see schools of gray reef sharks and whitetip sharks. Along the vertical walls, you can see gorgonian fans, soft corals, hard corals, eels, anemones, and barracudas. You can choose a 7-night trip, or a 10-night trip if you would like to visit all the must-see dives sites in Palau

When to Go

The ideal time to visit Palau is from November to April. At the end of winter and the beginning of spring, there is a strong possibility of seeing gray reef sharks. If you want to dive with mantas, it’s better to choose December for your trip.

Perfect Service and really new experiencesVerified review

I was the first time in Palau, the weather was awful. But this was the only discomfort. The service on board and dive safety and support were excellent. The best thing for me was to leave my “comfort zone” of diving: 1. The current was stronger I expected, fish were more and larger I have seen in my 350 dives (Raja, Red Sea, South Africa, Maledives…) before 2. Guided Blackwater Diving was an extraordinary and astonishing experience 3. To watch thousands of Bullhead Parrotfish while spawning was also an unique adventure.

One of our best liveaboard experiences ever.Verified review

This was our 7th liveaboard and it did not disappoint. The crew were amazing. We had a couple of issues to sort out in our cabin and they took care of them right away. Eric and Kailey do an amazing job as co Cruise Directors and Eric doubled as our dive guide. The diving was fabulous. The entire experience was terrific. It was also the only liveaboard where we did a safety drill - a welcome change!!
