Frequently Asked Questions About Bahamas Aggressor II

What dive sites does it feature in the itinerary of Tiger Beach?

The various dives included in the Tiger Beach liveaboard itinerary expose different marine life, with changing underwater landscapes. Diversity ranges from Mount Olympus, with its extensive reef area and spectacular wall formations; Mini Wall, with coral mounds and marine-rich sandy patches; to Hog Fish, a shallow reef with a lot of small life and colourful coral gardens. shark Paradise is also known for regular appearances from nurse, caribbean, lemon, and tiger sharks. Sugar Wreck, a shallow wreck full of marine life, and El Dorado, where night dives showcase octopus and turtles, also form part of this itinerary. Finally, at Tiger Beach itself, there is a sandy-bottom site that often hosts lemon, nurse, and tiger sharks

What is so special about the Exuma Cays liveaboard itinerary?

Exuma Cays trips afford dives on upwards of 350 islands and cays, with dives on both shallow reefs and stunning walls teeming with life and plenty of fish. The Amberjack Reef dive site provides ample opportunities for fish life, including reef sharks, and the Austin Smith Wreck, a Bahamian Defense Force cutter. Places such as Barracuda Shoals and Blacktip Wall would show up schools of fish, hammerhead sharks, along with diverse coral structures. The Cathedral at Dog Rocks Reef boasts a famous swim-through lit up with silversides and sunbeams. Jeep Reef, which is located in the center of the Exumas Land & Sea Park, offers excellent coral growth and different species of fish in good health

What are the dive sites promoted in Southwest Eleuthera and Little San Sal?

Southwest Eleuthera features such unique sites as Cave Rock, where divers can explore caves filled with coral and fish, and Monolith, which has coral mounds rising from the sand at the edge of the wall. Little San Sal, also called Half Moon Cay, features Cave Reef, with shallow swim-throughs, and Empress Pinnacles, a wall dive with 30-foot high pinnacles frequented by pelagic species and decorated with black coral

What do the guests eat and drink on board?

The menu includes many different American feasts, barbecues, and local dishes. Breakfasts are fresh fruits, cold cereals, juices, and hot entries, whereas lunch plates have soups, homemade bread, salads, and entrées and dinners are prepared by the chef with a combination of seafood, chicken, and beef along with freshly prepared desserts. Special dietary needs and allergies should be specified in advance, but there is always a small chance of cross-contamination since all meals are prepared in the same kitchen. Beverages included in the package are soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea, local beer, and wine. Guests are advised to bring their favorite liquor since imported alcohol is subject to high duty charges

What are the water temperatures and recommended gear?

The water temperature in Bahamas ranges from 72°F - 84°F (22°C to 29°C) between January and summer. A 3-5mm wetsuit is highly recommended for diving throughout the year; those prone to cold may seek additional thermal protection. Safety gear to be brought by the divers includes a dive computer, safety sausage, and reel. Other needs would include a dive light and extra mask among others

How does the operation contribute to sustainability?

The vessel adheres to the Green the Fleet initiatives: no single-use plastics onboard, reef-safe sunscreens, and refillable water bottles. Water use is to be kept to a minimum as well as adopting all possible eco-friendly practices while on the tour

2nd trip w the BVI crew on the Bahamas
I enjoyed my dives on the Bahamas Aggressor ll. I acquired my 1300th dives. I did missed the opportunity on the land excursion. DON’T wait for the 2nd run and wait for them at the briefing lounge which is near the dive deck. All boys crew, but, are respectful. BVI John always smiling and love his diving style. Thank you for cavern dives! Matt is helpful and nice. Alex has a nice smirk face. Captain Shea kept us on course and safe. And, Chef Andres did an excellent job w my Celiac (Gluten-Free) needs. I was well feed! He was always delightful and always smiling. I enjoyed having him on aboard. They might see me again on the Tiger Beach route.
