Cracked Coral Head is a massive Exumas coral formation rising around 12 metres off the bottom. Large swim-throughs cut through the structure, giving the impression that the coral head has split open.
What to see
Swim-throughs, hard corals, sponges, tropical reef fish, groupers, jacks, angelfish, and small reef creatures may be seen. Eagle rays or reef sharks may pass in the surrounding blue water.
When To Go Diving
The site is usually strongest from November to May, when weather and visibility tend to be more settled. Expect water around 24–29°C and generally clear Bahamas conditions.
