All about Cave Reef dive site
Cave Reef, near Little San Salvador or Half Moon Cay, is a shallow patch reef around 12 metres deep. Large swim-throughs cut through the reef, making it a scenic and accessible site with a gentle but adventurous feel.
What to see
Swim-throughs, reef fish, hard corals, sponges, grunts, snappers, angelfish, parrotfish, and small crustaceans may be seen. The shallow depth allows long, bright reef exploration.
When To Go Diving
November to May usually gives the strongest conditions, though shallow reef dives can be good year-round in calm weather. Water is generally around 24–29°C.
