Cathedral, part of Dog Rocks Reef in the Exumas, begins around 10–11 metres before sloping toward the wall and dropping into Exuma Sound. Its signature feature is a large swim-through where shafts of light filter over silversides, creating one of the Bahamas’ most atmospheric reef passages.

What to see

Silversides, groupers, jacks, eagle rays, sharks, black coral, orange elephant ear sponges, tube sponges, and reef fish may be seen. The swim-through is the visual centrepiece.

When To Go Diving

November to May is generally best for visibility and sea conditions, although the Exumas can be dived year-round. Water temperatures are usually around 24–29°C.
