Avo is a 44-metre Egypt liveaboard built in 2024, combining contemporary design with spacious social areas and comfortable accommodation for 24 guests. Designed specifically for Red Sea diving cruises, the yacht features 12 cabins, an outdoor jacuzzi, open-air dining, and a spacious dive deck with two tenders. Its relaxed atmosphere and thoughtful onboard facilities make it a comfortable base for exploring the Red Sea.

Boat Interior

The Avo liveaboard offers a balance of contemporary interiors and relaxed outdoor spaces. The main lounge is bright and welcoming, with panoramic windows overlooking the Red Sea and comfortable seating for socializing or unwinding between dives. Two 65-inch flat-screen televisions and a premium sound system provide entertainment for quieter evenings on board.
Dining is centred around fresh ingredients and balanced, wholesome meals. The open-air dining area allows guests to enjoy sea views while sharing freshly prepared dishes. On selected evenings, live cooking sessions and barbecues under the stars add variety to the dining experience.
One of the yacht's main attractions is its upper deck, where an outdoor jacuzzi overlooks the surrounding sea. The bar and spacious sundeck provide comfortable places to relax after diving, with both shaded and open-air seating available. Guests can spend the afternoon enjoying the sunshine or settle in for a quiet evening as the sun sets over the Red Sea.

Cabins

The vessel accommodates up to 24 guests in 12 cabins, with Standard, Superior, and Suite categories available.
The Suite cabins are situated on the upper deck and feature large windows that allow natural light into the accommodation. Each suite includes individual air conditioning, a private en-suite bathroom, and storage space for luggage and diving equipment. Towels, bathrobes, and hairdryers are also provided.
The cabin layout is designed to offer a comfortable retreat after a day in the water, with practical amenities and space for personal belongings.

Diving

The dive deck is designed to make daily diving operations comfortable and organized. Its spacious layout provides room for preparing equipment, gearing up, and rinsing diving gear after each underwater excursion.
Two tenders, each powered by an 85 HP engine, transport divers to sites that require access away from the main yacht. Both are fitted with custom tank racks to keep cylinders organized during transfers.
The vessel's 9.5-metre beam contributes to its generous deck space, allowing guests to move comfortably around the diving and relaxation areas.

Safety

Safety equipment includes an ENOS diver tracking system, AIS, and an EPIRB emergency position-indicating radio beacon. The yacht also carries comprehensive fire detection and suppression systems, alongside first aid and emergency response equipment.
An experienced crew trained in navigation and safety oversees onboard operations. The vessel is powered by twin Caterpillar V8 engines rated at 800 HP each and supported by three generators. Two water makers provide a combined production capacity of 12,000 litres of fresh water per day, supporting extended liveaboard operations.

Non-diving Activities

Time between dives can be spent relaxing in the outdoor jacuzzi, sunbathing on the upper deck, or enjoying a drink at the bar. The shaded lounge areas provide an alternative to the sunshine, while the indoor salon offers panoramic views and entertainment on two large screens.
Evenings on board have a relaxed social atmosphere, particularly during open-air barbecue dinners and live cooking sessions. The combination of comfortable indoor spaces and expansive outdoor decks makes the yacht equally inviting during quieter moments at sea.

Itineraries

Avo offers a selection of Red Sea diving itineraries covering Egypt's northern and southern dive sites. The Brothers, Daedalus, and Elphinstone route focuses on offshore reefs, dramatic drop-offs, and encounters with sharks and other pelagic marine life.
Northern itineraries include North and Ras Mohammed, North and Tiran, and North and Brothers, combining colourful coral reefs with some of the region's best-known diving locations.
For those interested in exploring the southern Red Sea, the seven-day Best of the South Classic itinerary visits Daedalus, Elphinstone, Rocky Island, and Zabargad. This route features spectacular coral formations, steep walls, and opportunities to encounter sharks, dolphins, and diverse reef marine life
