Taboga Island is rich in rock formations and reef walls with various drop-offs. Scuba diving at Taboga Island has lots of marine life to be explored on its sandy bottoms and in the numerous caverns and crevices. Night diving at this site would be a great experience for every diver.

When To Go Diving

Taboga Island has a tropical maritime climate, with steady temperatures throughout the year. The average temperature is 28C/83F. The average water temperature is 25-27C/77-80F. There are no distinct seasons. Taboga Island has a different wet and dry season than the rest of Panama. The wet season is May through November, but July to August are drier than the other months in the wet season. The driest season with the best weather is mid-December through April.

What to see

There are lots of protected areas where various marine creatures hide. Divers can see blue tangs, angelfish, crabs, nudibranchs, grouper, and snapper.
