Scubaspa Yin Liveaboard, Maldives
Scubaspa Yin is a 50-metre liveaboard accommodating up to 36 guests across 17 suites in the Maldives. The vessel combines scuba diving with an onboard spa and wellness programme.
Boat Interior
Meals are served in the al fresco restaurant, where internationally trained chefs prepare three buffet-style meals daily with live cooking stations. The menu combines European and Mediterranean cuisine with Maldivian flavours, local seafood, Asian specialities, flaming crêpes Suzette, sizzling tapas, and an authentic sushi bar. Fresh lobster is available at an additional cost, and a curated selection of wines and Champagnes can be paired with meals.
The bar sits beside the restaurant and opens onto a shaded lounge deck with access to the bathing platform. Cocktails, branded beers, spirits, cordials, and liquors are available, with a daily happy hour in the afternoon. The weekly programme includes a moonlit beach BBQ on a desert island, and private deck dinners with an à la carte menu can be arranged for special occasions.
Guests can spend time on the sundecks with loungers or in the shaded outdoor lounge areas. An open-air cinema is set on the spa deck for evening screenings, and a no-shoes policy applies throughout the vessel.
Cabin Types
All 17 suites include an en-suite bathroom with shower, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, premium bath products, deluxe linens, cosy wood furniture, comfortable mattresses, multiple electrical outlets, and ample lighting.
Manta Suite
Five suites on the main deck offer some of the most spacious accommodation onboard. Four have king-size beds with twin options, and one has a queen-size bed. All feature seating areas and large oval panoramic windows set into the hull, framing uninterrupted views of the ocean.
Dolphin Suite
Three suites on the main deck, each with a queen-size bed and seating area. Vibrant blue fabrics and nature-inspired tones set the mood, with oval panoramic windows looking out to the sea.
Cowrie Suite
One suite in the bow of the lower deck, spanning the full width of the vessel. It features a queen-size bed and a ruby-coloured sofa that converts into a second bed, four opening portholes, and the largest shower onboard.
Sea Star Suite
Eight suites on the lower deck, each with a queen-size bed. Driftwood accents and jewel tones create a warm atmosphere, with two opening portlights in each suite.
Dive Deck
Each yacht operates with a separate 20-metre dive dhoni carrying tanks, rental gear, and two Bauer PE 250 Mariner compressors rated at 250 l/min. The dhoni includes multiple entry points, a stern platform, and onboard bathroom facilities. Nitrox is available at an additional charge, and DIN adaptors are provided onboard. The dive guide ratio is 1:6.
Safety and Navigation
Navigation equipment includes a Raymarine Quantum marine radar, VHF marine radio, satellite phone, and EPIRB. Safety equipment includes smoke and heat detectors, fire hoses, extinguishers, fire blankets, marked escape routes, distress flares and strobe lights, life jackets, safety buoys, life rafts, an AED defibrillator, oxygen, and first aid kits.
A dive computer is mandatory for all dives. The maximum depth is 30 metres, and decompression diving is not permitted. Night dives and dives below 18 metres are restricted to advanced-certified divers. Guests must present a valid certification and logbook before diving. A self-declaration form is required, and a medical certificate may be requested for guests with pre-existing conditions. Certification upgrades are available onboard. The Deep South itinerary requires advanced certification and a minimum of 100 logged dives.
SPA Onboard
Non-divers and snorkellers can join snorkelling sessions, beach visits, and sandbank excursions throughout the trip. Weekly activities include island visits, sunset beach gatherings, and a beach BBQ. Daily yoga sessions are held on the outdoor deck.
The onboard spa spans 300 square metres across two decks and includes four treatment rooms, a shaded spa lounge, and an outdoor Thai Pavilion. More than 14 treatments are offered, drawing from Asian, Ayurvedic, and European traditions. Organic products are used throughout and are also sold in the onboard boutique.
Itineraries
Scubaspa Yin operates three route areas in the Maldives.
The Central Atolls itinerary, known as Best of Maldives, runs year-round in 4-night and 7-night formats and is suitable for divers of all experience levels. Dive types include channel dives, drift dives, pinnacles, walls, wreck dives, and night dives across North and South Male Atoll, Ari Atoll, and Vaavu Atoll.
The Far North itinerary runs between July and October, with regular departures in September. It includes visits to Hanifaru Bay in Baa Atoll during the manta ray aggregation season.
The Deep South itinerary operates from late January to early May, with regular departures in February and March, and is available on private charter outside that period. This route is intended for experienced divers with advanced certification and at least 100 logged dives. Dive sites are exposed to strong currents and are known for hammerheads, bull sharks, silky sharks, grey reef sharks, and silvertips. Selected departures include a stop at Fuvahmulah. Additional domestic flights are required for this route.
Itineraries may be adjusted due to weather conditions, seasonal variations, or other operational circumstances.
When to Go
The Maldives is a year-round diving destination. The northeast monsoon from November to May generally brings calmer seas and clearer conditions, while the southwest monsoon from June to October is typically quieter. Water temperatures remain between 26°C and 29°C throughout the year.

Program
Day 1:

Day 7:
2 dives on the last day. Return to the port. The crew hosts a sunset cocktail party at 17:30 followed by dinner ashore.
Day 8:
Check-out from the yacht, group transfer to the airport.

- Fleet's airport representative will be waiting at the arrival hall according to our guest flight time or at the information desk, if arriving from an island.
- The first transfer /check-in will be organized at 12:30.
- If the flight is later than 12:30 the fleet will do it' best to collect guests at the soonest time possible and will immediately arrange the transfer.
- As the transfer service will be shared with the other guests arriving at a similar time, please note that the fleet cannot guarantee the wait time.
- Travel from the airport to the location of the boat is organized by Dhoni boat (dive boat) & takes approximately 20 minutes
- Check out time from the boat is between 8:00-9:00.
- Dhoni boat will transfer all the guests back to the airport according to the itinerary
