Top-deck Jacuzzi

Built in 2021, Felicity is a 39-metre liveaboard operating dive cruises in the Maldives. The vessel accommodates up to 26 guests in 13 cabins.

Boat Interior

The main deck parlour forms the vessel’s central indoor gathering space, with the restaurant and bar arranged around a seating area and LCD TV. Outside, several lounge and sun-deck areas provide places to spend time between dives, with sun beds for open-air downtime and a Jacuzzi on the top deck.

Food & Drinks

Buffet-style meals are served throughout the cruise, with three chef-prepared meals each day and snacks. Diving days typically begin with a light breakfast before the first dive, followed by a fuller breakfast afterward, with lunch, afternoon tea and snacks, and dinner served later in the day. Dietary requirements, including vegetarian meals and allergy-related requests, can be accommodated when advised in advance.

Drinking water, tea and coffee are complimentary. Soft drinks, juices and alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, spirits and cocktails, are available at an additional charge.

Cabin Types

Felicity has 13 air-conditioned, en-suite cabins across the lower, main and upper decks. Seven Twin Bed Cabins are located on the lower deck, while six Seaview Double Cabins are split between the main and upper decks, with two on the main deck and four on the upper deck. Each cabin accommodates two guests, and the bathrooms include a shower, sink and toilet. Two towels are provided per guest, one for the shower and one for use on the sundeck.

Dive Deck

Diving is conducted from a dedicated 18-metre dhoni powered by a 280 hp Doosan Daewoo engine. The dive setup includes 50 scuba tanks with weights and two Bauer high-pressure compressors, with DIN tanks and INT adaptors available onboard. Rental equipment can be arranged in advance.

An onboard Nitrox membrane supplies complimentary Nitrox for certified divers, and four dive instructors are onboard.

Safety and Navigation

Navigation is supported by radar, GPS and a depth sounder, with VHF/DSC/SSB radio plus satellite and mobile communications onboard. A searchlight, bilge-pump alarm and engine-room CCTV provide additional vessel monitoring. Emergency equipment includes life vests, oxygen, first-aid kits, a fire alarm and fire extinguishers, as well as emergency flares.

Divers receive a detailed briefing before each dive and follow a buddy system, with dive locations and timing determined by the captain and dive guides according to conditions.

Non-diving Activities

Between dives, guests can try line fishing with equipment provided onboard. A guided Malé city tour can also be arranged on request, offering a chance to spend some time ashore during the cruise.

Itineraries

Explore Maldives is available in five- and seven-night formats, combining coral reefs with wreck, drift, pinnacle and night diving. Sites associated with the route include Manta Point, Maamigili Beyru, Kandooma Thila and the Kudhimaa Wreck, with opportunities to encounter manta rays, whale sharks, grey reef sharks and other marine life depending on conditions.

The seven-night Baa Atoll - Ari - Vaavu route travels through Baa, North and South Ari, South Malé and Vaavu, with Hanifaru Bay also included in the programme. Diving ranges from coral reefs and pinnacles to drift, wreck and night dives, with possible encounters including manta rays, whale sharks and grey reef sharks.

Deep South itineraries include routes between Malé and Gan and between Gan and Kooddoo. Diving ranges from shallow reefs to deeper pinnacles, with opportunities to encounter manta rays, whale sharks, grey reef sharks and other pelagic marine life. Malé to Gan departures include areas such as Fuvahmulah, Addu and Meemu.

When to Go

Diving in the Maldives is possible year-round. The southwest monsoon from May to October is associated with increased manta ray activity, while the northeast monsoon from November to April generally brings better visibility and more consistent diving conditions

Frequently Asked Questions About Felicity

What are you expecting to see on the Deep South Male to Gan itinerary?

This Maldives liveaboard dive schedule offers a minimum of three to four dives daily for seven days, visiting different sites along the way. Anticipate shallow coral plateaus at Rasfari Corner, thrilling drift dives at Kandooma Thila, and viewing manta rays at Lankan Beyru. The tour includes wreck dives such as Kudhimaa Wreck and whale shark spotting at Maamigili Beyru. During the in-between dives, there is ample time for food, rest, and interaction. The tour concludes with an airport transfer on the final day after breakfast

What can you see on the Explore Maldives itinerary?

This 7-night Maldives liveaboard cruise visits South Male and North Ari Atoll, featuring manta rays, whale sharks, grey reef sharks, and coral reefs in technicolor. Dive sites include Manta Point, Maamigili Beyru, and Kudhimaa Wreck, featuring a mix of drift dives, pinnacles, and night dives. Itinerary is suitable for all diving levels and showcases the very best of the Maldives sea floors and marine life

Which are the most popular dive spots in the Maldives?

Manta Point (Lankan Beyru) One of the most popular Maldives dive spots, Manta Point attracts manta rays during the southwest monsoon season. Divers are privileged to see these gentle giants come to cleaning stations among whitetip reef sharks, turtles, and coral structures. The shallow depth of the site makes it suitable for all levels of experience. Maaya Thila Located at North Ari Atoll, Maaya Thila is one of the best Maldives' night diving areas. Whitetip reef sharks, stingrays, fusiliers, moray eels, and schools of jacks and fusiliers inhabit the site. Coral blocks and overhangs along the site hide an assortment of fish, therefore becoming a day and night diver's perfect paradise. Fish Head This site in North Ari Atoll is known for strong currents and abundant marine life, from shoals of fusiliers, jacks, blue-striped snappers, and grey reef sharks to barracuda, dogtooth tuna, and manta rays. Its scenic underwater landscape, overhangs, and sheer drop-offs are a thrilling experience for technical divers. Maamigili Beyru (Whale Shark Spotting) Maamigili Beyru in South Ari Atoll is a suitable place for the sight of whale sharks. The friendly animals like to swim around the shallow waters, presenting divers with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to swim with them. The easy conditions make for an unforgettable and effortless dive. Kudhimaa Wreck A 150-foot-long freighter sank in 1998, Kudhimaa Wreck in South Ari Atoll is an artificial reef covered by nurse sharks, batfish, lionfish, and moray eels. The quite peaceful waters make it suitable for all levels, giving a great introduction to wreck diving. Rasdhoo Madivaru Located in Rasdhoo Atoll, this channel dive offers an encounter with grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and dogtooth tuna, with a chance of seeing hammerhead sharks on early morning dives. Current hooks are employed by divers to stay in position, so it is challenging and rewarding

Why is the Maldives one of the best diving spots?

A Maldives liveaboard provides access to stunning coral reefs, thrilling drift dives, and diverse marine life, including manta rays, whale sharks, and sharks of every species. Diving wrecks, pinnacles, or deep channels, every dive is an amazing biodiversity and unforgettable underwater experience

Felitistic trip
Recent boat with spacious cabins. The food is really good and plentiful. Very friendly crew. We had 3 experienced Maldivian dive guides (freelancing as far as I understoof so the diving team may change) that did a great job guiding the groups. The dhoni crew was also very good. I just wish they had fresh coconut on the dhoni :)
