The MV Maldives Legend Sea Pleasure liveaboard is a 30-metre expedition yacht built in 2021 to deliver a comfortable and well-equipped platform for diving safaris and leisure cruises across the Maldives. Designed for both divers and non-divers, it accommodates up to 20 guests in ten cabins and is operated by a nine-member crew. Spread across four decks, the vessel offers a mix of elegant interiors and spacious exterior relaxation areas.

Cabin Types

Double Cabin – Lower Deck

The lower deck includes one double cabin furnished with a comfortable double bed. The room is fully air-conditioned and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet and hot-and-cold shower.

Family Cabins – Lower Deck

Three family cabins are situated on the lower deck. Each offers a double bed and a single bed, providing flexible triple-occupancy options. All cabins include full air-conditioning and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet.

Standard Twin Cabins – Lower Deck

Two standard cabins on the lower deck are configured with twin beds. These air-conditioned rooms feature an en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower and toilet.

Seaview Cabins – Upper Deck

Four upper-deck seaview cabins feature private balconies. Two are arranged with twin beds that can be converted into a double configuration. Each cabin includes air-conditioning, a minibar, and an en-suite bathroom with sa hower and toilet.

Boat Interior

The indoor saloon is air-conditioned and furnished with comfortable seating, an entertainment system, and a dining area serving international and Maldivian cuisine. The observation deck, leisure deck, and library provide quiet corners for relaxation.

Dive Deck

The Maldives Legend Sea Pleasure liveaboard Maldives includes a fully equipped dive dhoni, providing ample space for dive preparation and equipment storage. Facilities include Nitrox, rinse hoses, freshwater showers, and DIN adaptors. Underwater photographers benefit from a dedicated camera table, separate rinse tanks, and charging stations.

Safety

Safety equipment meets international liveaboard standards and includes radar, GPS tracking, VHF/DSC/SSB radios, EPIRB distress system, smoke detectors, life rafts, life jackets, firefighting systems, first-aid kits, and emergency oxygen. A satellite phone and searchlight are available for additional security.

Itinerary

The MV Maldives Legend Sea Pleasure liveaboard operates the Best of Maldives itinerary, an eight-day route through the Male, Ari, and Vaavu Atolls. The schedule includes up to 17 dives, featuring drift dives, night dives, and encounters with manta rays, whale sharks, and reef sharks. Highlights include Maldives diving hidden gems, Maamigili Beyru, Fish Tank, and Alimatha House Reef, where guests can explore coral-rich environments and vibrant marine life.

Nitrox is available for certified divers. Equipment rental, camera preparation areas, and separate rinse tanks are provided.

Boat Navigation & Safety

The navigation suite includes radar, GPS, and radio systems supported by life-saving and emergency tools such as fire extinguishers, oxygen kits, and emergency flares.

Food & Drinks

Meals combine Western and local cuisine, served buffet-style or plated. Snacks, soft drinks, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day, while alcoholic beverages and spirits are offered for purchase.

Onboard Facilities

The yacht offers a jacuzzi, sun loungers, massage service, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and Wi-Fi (paid). Outdoor dining and multiple decks provide comfortable spaces for leisure.

Photographer Facilities

A photography station with charging points and rinse tanks is available for camera maintenance.

Kuda Rah Thila: Declared a marine protected area, you can see large schools of snappers and fusiliers, and turtles. white tip sharks and grey reef sharks in this dive site.

Rangali Madivaru: Manta rays can be seen at this cleaning with a lot of fish.
Pannetone: Famous manta site with high possibility of manta feed sighting outside the atoll during outgoing current. During incoming currents on the ridge of the atoll, you'll see what is known as the "Shark City" and dozens of big grey reef sharks.

Dive Highlights:
Angafaru: A variety of marine life can be seen while drifting along the reef. Turtles, manta rays, eagle rays and sharks can be seen.
Nelivaru Thila: A fairly large thila (pinnacle) with manta rays that come for cleaning and schools of fish.

Dive Highlights:
Dharavandhoo Thila: A great spot for macro lovers and photographers; there is also a manta ray cleaning station between May and November.
Hanifaru Bay: A globally known marine protected area where scuba diving is banned. You will snorkel or freedive here, if lucky, with hundreds of manta rays and at times whale sharks.

Dive Highlights:
Dhonfan Thila: Well known for manta rays (during the monsoon). Full of cleaner wrasses, fusiliers, triggerfish, parrotfish, butterflyfish, hawkfish, sharks and more.
Rasdhoo Madivaru: In addition to sharks, Rasdhoo Madivaru has eagle rays, tuna, barracudas, mackerel and grouper. There is a chance of seeing hammerheads.
