White Pearl Liveaboard, Maldives
White Pearl is a 56.4 m steel motor yacht built in 2020 and operating dive cruises across the Maldives. It accommodates up to 26 guests in 13 cabins.
Boat Interior
The main deck brings together the vessel’s main social spaces, with an indoor dining area, café and bar opening onto outdoor seating and a second bar beside the six-metre whirlpool. An entertainment salon, gym, business centre and TV room provide places to spend time between dives, while the upper and top decks offer additional outdoor seating, sun beds, a sundeck lounge and a sky lounge with a bar.
Starlink Wi-Fi is included, although access may be limited in remote areas or on the open sea.
Food & Drinks
Buffet meals feature a selection of Western and local dishes served in the indoor dining area. Full board includes three meals per full day, along with drinking water, regular coffee and tea. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available at an additional charge. Dietary requirements can be accommodated when requested in advance, subject to ingredient availability.
Cabin Types
White Pearl has 13 cabins for two guests each, comprising ten Deluxe cabins, two Junior Cabins and one Master Cabin. All cabins include an en-suite bathroom with a hot-water shower, an HD television with Google Cast, a keypad door lock, a safety deposit box, USB charging ports, an inter-room communication system, a hairdryer and 2-in-1 shampoo and bath gel.
The upper deck has Deluxe Twin and Deluxe Double / Twin Cabin categories. The two Junior Cabins and the Master Cabin are located on the main deck.
Dive Deck
Diving is supported by a customized dhoni and two 7.5-metre tenders powered by 250 HP outboard engines. The diving area includes a dive deck, personal equipment storage, rinse hoses and a freshwater shower. Five dive guides work with up to 26 guests, with groups limited to six divers per guide.
Twelve-litre tanks, weights, weight belts and complimentary Nitrox for certified divers are included. 15l tanks are available at an additional charge and should be reserved in advance. Tank valves accommodate DIN and Yoke regulators. An onboard Nitrox course is available, while rental equipment can be arranged in advance for an additional charge, subject to availability.
Safety and Navigation
Navigation and communication equipment includes radar, GPS tracking, VHF radio and a satellite phone. Life rafts, life jackets, firefighting equipment, emergency oxygen, first-aid kits, a searchlight and smoke detectors are carried onboard. The dive boats are additionally equipped with VHF radios, GPS, first-aid kits and DAN diving emergency equipment.
Each diver must carry a dive computer and surface marker buoy. Dive sites and routes may be adjusted according to weather, tides, currents and vessel traffic, with alternative sites used when scheduled locations cannot be reached.
Non-diving Activities
Non-divers can snorkel when conditions around the dive sites are suitable. A dedicated snorkelling guide can be arranged at least one month before departure for an additional charge.
Between activities, guests can use the kayaks, SUPs, water slide, gym, spa and six-metre whirlpool. Selected cruises may also include beach barbecues, cocktail parties and local-island visits, while fishing is available onboard. Massage treatments and Jet Ski use are offered for an additional charge and are subject to availability.
Itineraries
White Pearl operates across the Central, Northern and Deep South regions of the Maldives.
Central Atolls cruises combine channel dives, thilas, coral reefs and wrecks, with opportunities to encounter reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, manta rays and whale sharks depending on the season and conditions. The routes explore North and South Malé, Vaavu and Ari.
Northern itineraries include snorkelling in Hanifaru Bay during the manta season, together with diving around the surrounding atolls. These routes feature coral reefs, pinnacles and channels, while Hanifaru Bay itself is reserved for snorkelling. An additional entry fee applies.
Deep South cruises visit Fuvahmulah, Huvadhoo and Addu, where channel dives and stronger currents bring opportunities for pelagic encounters. The route also includes the HMS British Loyalty wreck. Some departures connect these southern areas with the Central Atolls.
When to Go
White Pearl operates throughout the year, with routes varying by season and departure schedule. Published departures place Hanifaru Bay itineraries mainly between August and October, while Wonders of the Deeper South cruises operate on selected dates during February and March. Central Atolls itineraries are available across much of the year.
Temperatures in the Maldives generally range from 25 to 30°C. The drier northeast monsoon runs from December to April, while the southwest monsoon from May to November usually brings more rainfall and humidity.
Photography Facilities
A dedicated camera bay provides a camera table, special storage, charging points with several socket types and USB ports, and separate rinse tanks beside the dive-preparation area. The setup supports preparing, charging, and rinsing underwater photography and video equipment between dives

This Itinerary will take you far away from the crowds to a UNESCO reserve with thilas (submerged pinnacles) covered in bustling fish life, Stunning bays with mantas that dance during the full moon and new moon, colourful coral gardens, cleaning stations and shipwrecks submerged in crystal clear water. On your journey back we will stop to experience the dive sites of the North Male Atoll.
