Pearl 111 Liveaboard, Maldives
Pearl 111 is a three-masted wooden sailing yacht offering diving, snorkelling, and surfing cruises in the Maldives. It accommodates up to 14 guests in seven air-conditioned, en-suite cabins.
Boat Interior
The deck provides space to read, watch the sunset, and relax with a drink, while a bow net offers another place to lounge above the water. Meals combine Maldivian and international cuisine, with vegetarian and other special diets available on advance request. Water, tea, and coffee are included, while alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from the bar menu are available at an additional cost.
Wi-Fi is available except during inter-atoll crossings, and European-type electrical outlets are provided onboard. The vessel follows a zero-plastic approach, and homemade meals use local products.
Cabin Types
Accommodation is arranged across seven air-conditioned, en-suite cabins, with double and flexible triple or twin configurations.
Three cabins have one double bed. Four cabins have one double bed and one single bed and can also be arranged for twin occupancy. All cabins include air conditioning and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet.
Non-diving Activities
Non-divers can join activities such as snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding, and traditional fishing, with the onboard chef able to prepare the day’s catch. Depending on the cruise programme, visits may also include local islands, deserted beaches, sandbanks, and beach barbecues.
Itineraries
Pearl 111 operates a seven-night round-trip diving itinerary from the Port of South Ari, with approximately 17 dives around Ari Atoll. The route includes manta cleaning stations, caves, drop-offs, and sites with colourful soft corals. Whale sharks may be encountered, with occasional opportunities to see hammerhead sharks.
Divers require an AOWD certification or equivalent and at least 40 logged dives. The planned route may change due to weather or other unforeseen conditions.
